They are well suited then.
Amber loves to take and is a glutton.
Emily likes to give food and belly rubs.
The only rift I can see is if Amber loses her income and can’t contribute to the extra food expenses. Although, maybe Emily would be cool with that because she gets off on how much Amber eats?
Amber would also have to deal with not being able to Amazon shop at whim.

Erica and Brittany ("Valentine" and her psycho temu therapist wife), hinted that Jade was in North Carolina (... I think NC - in the same state that Erica and Brittany live in)... But they've been caught in lies since then, so it's hard to know if that's actually true or not.
 
Whoever thinks Amber is gonna be fine without her YouTube income because Emily makes $38 an hour is a fool. There's a lot more that goes into this than money.

Can we not forget the initial reasoning behind Emily's decision to bring Amber into her home? To kill her. She knows Amber is a braindead, petulant, gullible idiot. Amber not posting on YouTube anymore is a MAJOR indicator of Emily achieving her goals even quicker and more efficiently than any of us ever imagined. She's convincing Amber to give up all income and independence.

The next step in this sinister plot is very predictable. Emily has already managed to estranged her from her family and cause her to destroy her only income source in what... a month?
