Amber even put Becky on blast during the livestream era for how 'unsupportive' she was, saying things like "Wifey is the only relationship I've ever had who has been so supportive and encouraging." She gave examples of Jade giving Amber little exercise goals, saying things like it was proof how much Jade wanted her to be happy, healthy, and cared about her. Becky said she gave Amber goals she could accomplish, too, like walking to the mailbox and back, but Amber gave up and didn't want to do it.
Now Faline is the bad one and "doesn't accept Amber for who she is". She's "bad" for the very thing Amber used to idealize her.
Classic Amber. Whoever her current girlfriend is, they're a saint who she's never been more in love with. The previous girlfriend is evil, has never supported her, and never accepted Amber for who she is.
 
When you see a 350 lb teenager (or someone who looks teenaged), you usually feel sorry for them. You can tell their childhood must have sucked, and a parent/guardian fucked up hugely by letting them get 200+ lbs overweight.

When you see a 550 lb 30 yr old, that's entirely different. Even if they had a shitty childhood, they've been a full fledged adult for a long-ass time. 30 yr olds in general need to take accountability for their life choices unless they're severely retarded (medically, not just internet 'tarded).

Do you remember that clip where they were eating snacks and Jade Francis from New York said that Amber could only have one snack and when Hambie asked for another she said a firm "no"? And when Amber said that Wipey was essentially her "food dom" (:cryblood:)? I think Wipey genuinely wanted Hamber to lose weight, they never got to go on that infamous hike Amber brought up during their texting/nevermet phase. MONTHS of Amberlynn moaning about having to go to therapy and meet the requirements for WLS, then when she's given the okay she smugly announces in a vlog she's "just not ready for it [the surgery]".
Everyone knows this, but she doesn't want to lose weight. She wants to continue being a fat parasitic tick. I can't believe it took her this long to finally reel in a feeder.

This is irrelevant to Hamber but I've witnessed the exact opposite of this firsthand (I'm not saying you're wrong btw, I think I saw the less common example of childhood obesity) and it was mind boggling.

Girl I went to school with was pushing high 200's at 13, lived in the nice area, big house, two parents, more than enough money to allow for comfortable living, always having parties and outings with friends, she was spoiled rotten and belonged to the ''cool'' kids group.
She was simply a greedy bitch who got everything handed to her. She was also one of those physically pushy types, hitting kids as a joke etc. Which I can picture Hambo doing 100%.

Sometimes people are just useless bastards with no hidden reason behind it.
Hamber has the foster care background to latch onto and I imagine she's glad she has that, what else could she blame her vile body on?
 
I can see a way in which Jade also did not support Amber's lifestyle, as a vlogger, and I think that's also what ALR is alluding to.

Jade refused to be in Amber's videos. The most we got out of her was an occasional hand or quip with her off camera. Even with Jade being found out and pictures of her by onlookers during their outings confirmed it, she did not want to be in Amber's videos.

I can understand how Amberlynn would be frustrated with Jade not being a part of her lifestyle in that regard. Jade did seem to really want to whip Amber into shape during the first 4 months of their relationship, but stopped caring over time.

Amber seemed more depressed with Jade than any other gorlfriend.

At least Mommy Tommy Salami isn't camera shy.

Agreed. This seems to be a controversial opinion with people. It's this mental hangup decent folks seem to have - like there always has to be some horrible reason for everything and don't want to accept that people can have relatively low trauma lives, and still grow up to be total shitbags. Just like some people have what the majority of people would consider horrific trauma, yet are still kind and reasonably well-adjusted people. They say that narcissists aren't born; they're made... BUT it isn't necessarily abuse that makes them. A child who lives an indulgent life and is never told no, nor has to face consequences for their actions (which sounds like a lot of Amber's life), and/or having a narcissistic parent as a role model will often grow up to become narcissistic themselves. And the scary part of all of this is that behavioural experts believe that a child's personality is set by about age 5. That's a really short timeframe before a child's mind becomes far less maliable. I mean, people can shift their personality (I'm not so sure you could completely change it - I'm guessing that's not a thing), but it's a lot of hard work and the person would have to WANT to do it.
If anyone's interested in this topic, I would recommend David Goggin's first book "Can't Hurt Me". In it he talks about his life, starting with his abusive father and he and his mother fleeing from him to live in poverty. His mother worked hard to provide and improved their position in life, but he let a lot of external factors affect his mindset and turned into a total asshole, deserving of being hit with several Klingon Painsticks. He finally reached a point where he realized that he needed to change, and reading the rest of the book is following him through his life as that change slowly happened. Oh, but in Amber's case, changing would mean that she'd lose the perks that being a manipulative, controlling, selfish shitbag provides her, so it's a moot point.

Amber spent a little over half of her childhood in the system (and most of her adult life), getting everything she wanted with no consequence for bad behaviour. If a foster parent tried to set boundaries for her, Amber would just throw a tantrum (like the time when she smashed her foster mom's laptop - I mean, when Amber pushed it and it "just fell" to the floor), and get moved to another placement. And we know it wasn't a problem with the foster mom, because Amber told us that Tony stayed in the house - only she moved. While in the system, she got to help out with the SPACE dance program, play soccer (on the BLUE team!), go to Disney Land multiple times, be in the Girl Guides/Scouts/whatever, etc. She even had a smartphone (and back then they weren't as mainstream as they are now - I certainly didn't have one in the 2000s). When she couldn't be bothered to go to school because she was an ungrateful whiny bitch that was more interested in giving movie theatre handjobs to spotty-faced dweebs for ice cream, she got transferred to a continuation school and was just GIVEN a highschool diploma despite her admitting that she flunked the previous 3 years of highschool. One time she even blamed foster care for her present day situation, saying that they gave her everything and did everything for her, so she never learned how to do things for herself.

And then as an adult she mooched off of multiple families under the guise of the woman being her "girlfriend". When she finally pushed each gf too far and they dumped her, she still got to live with them (and sleep in their bed), until she had her next mark lined up that would take her in and care for her like a mother cares for a toddler, but with Amber being in control of everyhing. Then she created a YouTube channel which fortunately started paying out once she could no longer mooch off of Destiny, and has made hundreds of thousands of dollars through uploading videos of her deepthroating junk food, filming her girlfriends on the toilet, and fonding markers.

I'm not saying that Amber didn't have a troubled childhood, but she REALLY enjoys this shield that she feels her past provides her so she can choose to continuously treat others badly as an adult. I suspect that she embellishes a lot of it to make sure that her shield is as strong as possible. And I also suspect that the people who are quick to point out of her troubled past or her mentulz in her comments secion are far more like Amber in entitlement and treatment of others than they'd like to admit.

Wipey appears to be "the one that got away" to Amber. She appears to be the only one who didn't cave to Amber's temper tantrums and manipulation. Congrats to Wipey ... She's the most unscathed and unbothered of all of Amber's caretakers/prisoners, and Amber can't stand it.

This post just screams narcissistic injury. It all but confirms that the July 4th breakup happened because Amber gave Wipey an ultimatum over her going out to see fireworks with friends (as opposed to staying home and being a sad sack of shit with Amber), and Wipey properly responded with "okay bye bitch."

She never got the nod of approval for WLS. She was clearly booted from the program but wouldn’t admit it. We’ve seen 4 examples of Dr Smith’s patients attempting to get WLS on 1000lb sisters. Every one of them had to lose significant weight prior to approval, while Amber gained weight on the program. She also is unlikely to have had the cash to pay for a SADI-s surgery out of pocket. I suspect she was hoping for some TLC involvement when she chose him as her bariatric surgeon, given there were plenty of others in Lexington she could have chosen.

Unlike others I do believe she wanted the surgery, an easy way out in her mind. She spent way too much money on appointments, tests, dieticians and the psych for that to have just been about making content. Jade was also very much part of the process, and I suspect the breakup was in large part a result of Amber getting the boot from the surgeon. You don’t get as fat as her and not want to lose weight, but that doesn’t mean you can do it without significant medical intervention…and that’s expensive and hard work.

I think she doesnt want it but does want it. Its an easy out, but shes really scared about 1. Dying on the table. I think she knows theres a good chance shes not gonna wake up and she cant handle that. 2. Shes not gonna get the ass pats and rooms of people giving her a giant round of applause for losing it the good old fashioned hard way. The risk in that surgery is really small. It is a quite short (1-1.5 hrs) laparoscopic procedure. Way less risky than her open incision total hysterectomy was. Not going to lie though, any surgery under GA has a degree of risk, and the fatter you are the higher the anaesthesia risk.

She’ll still get those ass pats. Bariatric surgery has nowhere near the stigma it did decades ago. People now realise the person that has the surgery still has to do most of the work. Surgery gives them a tool, no more, no less. Is like having an automatic washing machine rather than a twin tub (or with the SADI-S a washboard), there’s still effort to be done, it’s just a bit (SADI-S a lot) easier. Look at Tammy Slaton who is around 400lbs down from her highest, same surgery, same surgeon that Amber choose. I don’t think she scared herself out of it, I think it was out of budget, and she couldn’t control her binge eating so failed to qualify, and was too embarrassed to admit the truth.

I don't think it was that deep, what happened with Jade.
Amber lied about wanting to lose weight in order to get attention.
Jade wanted to play save-a-hoe, so she came to help with the weight loss.
Once Jade moved in, Amber tried dropping the façade but Jade kept trying to help with weight loss. Not sure if stupid or just hard headed.
Amber played along by going to the doctors, but sat and played on her phone instead of paying attention because she had no intention of ever getting the surgery.
Eventually Jade gave up, which is what Amber wanted but then Jade dumped her which was a shock.
Amber probably hasn't outright attacked Jade online because she fears being called a rayciss, which she would be (right or wrong and it would be funny.)
