It's not a healthy relationship. They are always going out to eat when instead they should be cooking together and encouraging each other to eat healthy and less.

Their relationship isn't deep and consist of bingo, binging, eating out and shopping.

If Amberlynn were to actually take losing weight seriously, she wouldn't get those rides as she has probably gotten her mother hooked on eating out more and wasting money.

And worse, of her mother decided to turn her life around, Amber would have the biggest fit because that would mean less eating out and facilitating her food addiction.

And we know they're not going to meet in the middle.

This is the biggest city Amber has lived in during her entire youtube career. There are so many things her mom should be showing Amber about her new hometown and so many things Amber could be showing her audience. They live in the place of one of the most tragic events of American history in the 1990's, no acknowledgement of the event or a visit to the memorial. They have an NBA team who are currently in the playoffs, they could have gone to a game or at least watched one on TV and talked about it. There's a river running through the middle of the city with a water taxi, she's literally never mentioned it. They have far more museums than any city she's been in, and we got what? One visit to a children's science museum? A basic google search showed they have a zoo, a botanical garden, so many interesting things. You'd think a person who vlogs for a living would look into it. But of course it's amber we're talking about. At the very least, I'd have thought her mom would have more intellectual curiosity. But I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

you do realize that she literally can't do all of that, even if she wanted to? she hardly waddles, and you expect her to WALK around museum?? she will die
 
A thought occurred to me whilst I was browsing the Chantal thread so am running it by you guys: do you think being single but having a dog has ‘saved’ Amber? Yes she’s a fat fuck but I think Twinkie has kept her mobile, she has no choice she HAS to get up every day and attend to her. She seems to be in a mentally healthier place and I think the canine pet ownership has helped her get her sleeping sorted and a sense of a routine.

I honestly don’t think she should have pets at all tbh but we are where we are and Amber now has to man up and take care of them herself - probably for the first time in her life. She’s regressing in her behaviour and is as boring as fuck but she does seem to have her life together (as far as that goes) since her move. I wonder if not having a live-in serf and having to get up and deal with shit before you are literally dealing with it has given the lazy fat fuck the kick up the backside she so clearly deserves?

And you’re forgetting about her other two pets, I’m pretty sure there was just a bunch of discourse recently over Rarity or Wasabi looking pretty rough compared to how she looked before her and Jade split up. So if she can’t even do the basics like grooming her cats fur do you really think she’s taking good care of Twonks?

She doesn't walk Twinkie, she only made a show of it when it was 'weight loss content' about how she can totally walk a mile to show the haydurs. We haven't really seen much of Twinkie since Jade left afaik, so I'd assume she's gaining weight again and Amber knows she's going to get backlash if she shows that.

Remember when she moved.. somewhere.. maybe here(?) she said she would lock Wasabi in the bedroom all day so no, she doesn't groom him either. Rarity never gets mentioned so we should probably be asking for proof of life at this point. And we've seen in the past, food bowls stacked to a mountain, overflowing with kibble, so she likely doesn't monitor their food intake either and just fills it with trash cat kibble whenever it starts to look empty. She does the bare minimum to keep her animals alive, their welfare is not a driving force for her. The UberEats or DoorDash guys are more important in Amberland.
With Wasabi not looking in the best condition (I don't know how old he is, maybe it's just age) she appears to do this thing where she hopes her animals just die (or appear to recover on their own) before the suffering becomes too noticeable and she's forced to spend money on a vet trip.
 
@Surprised Pikachu Having the Twonkster MIGHT be helping with Amber's mobility, but I personally don't think so. When Amber was living alone for a couple of months after Destiny dumped her and moved out, Ambo wasn't walking that dog. It was suspected that she wasn't even taking her out to go, but rather using pee pads for the dog.

As bizarre as this sounds, I think the thing that's keeping her from becoming one with her Aaron's sofa is actually Kristine. Amber doesn't want to be seen as LOWER than some degenerate junkie who lost her kids to the foster system. And Amber's already been shunned by her family once before for being a dispekful piece of shit. Kristine isn't going to cater to her bullshit the way Becky did. I mean, she broke a multiple decade long drug addiction and dealt with CANCER in fucking lockup. She doesn't care about Amber's random sadz or made up bullshit anxieties.

Kinda like how Jade was able (for a while, at least) get Ambo on a regular uploading schedule, get Ambo to shower weekly, and pushed her to try and do something about her weight. Jade liked 'em big, but not bedbound. And when Ambo wasn't willing to get with the program, she dumped her in OKC and blocked her on everything. Kristine's fine with taking advantage of the free meals, likely using the justifcation that she's staying "on her side of the street with her recovery" because it's Ambo's choice to eat like a pig and not her place to meddle. But Kristine doesn't have the same level of entanglement that all of the other GFs had, and as soon as Ambo gets too needy and nasty, I can see Kristine telling her to fuck off and no longer answering Ambo's calls. And I think Amber can see that too.

Twinkie is a very small part of it. As much as I'd hate to say it, Mamalynn is keeping her from going stir crazy again by driving her around to eat out, bingo, and shop in actual stores(big decrease in online shopping). Jade was surface level and every conversation being just "I wuv you bebe" showed that there was little to no intellectual stimulation between the two, anyone's brain would melt in that apartment all day. Mamalynn gets to enrich Amber with many topics, from kids she tossed into the system to sobriety and prison.

She isn't gaining any permanent habits from taking care of Twinkie because it's gone the moment a new gorl moves in, but I do see why you think optimistically. She easily could have stood around with Twinkie outside her apartment then turn around and go back in but instead she goes for a full walk. Could also just be her way of making the audience think of the former.

Maybe it's just her bipolar disorder kicking in, who knows.
 
Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I must admit I was looking at my own two furry motivators at the time and thanking the God-Bear that Chantal never followed through with her threat of getting a dog when my thoughts wandered to Amber and Lil’ Twonk. Y’all are right though, it’s probably Kristine that is keeping her motivated but I do hope she’s doing as much as she can and giving that doggo as best as life as possible. She certainly seems happier in herself and DOES leave the apartment occasionally so yeah, rainbows!!!

(I didn’t include the cats as whilst the little fur demons deserve much better care than they are receiving they don’t require getting out of your pyjamas during daylight hours. Or at all. Source: Chantal Sarault)
 
I recall her saying recently, after an Amazon haul, how she buys a new litterbox every two months, and just throws the current one away. I'd not be surprised if she let's the "current one" fill with 2 months worth of shit. Just keeps refreshing it with litter or whatever. The thought of that is disgusting, knowing that most cats will start shitting outside their box if there are too many dooks in it.

She's not the worst pet owner I've heard about, but when it comes to their needs, she absolutely does the bare minimum. But we all done knew that, so I digress.

Well with Moderation Queen dragging up old vids where Amber and Destiny said Wasabi was shitting blood and they didn't take him to the vet, this appears to be more accurate than I thought when I posted it.
 
Meds spas generally require labs before they will start the segmaglutide treatments. I also find it hard to believe that a pcp would tell a 550lb woman with gallbladder and pancreas problems to definitely go to a med spa instead of working directly with him just because it’s cheaper.

Also the general consensus is that Amber had cellulitis again. I wonder if she had “really high respect” for her doctor in Kentucky because they just gave her antibiotics constantly to treat it and never pushed to fix the underlying problem which is her non compliance with doctors/the lipedema specialist and being fat as shit. She could be mental enough to end up wheelchair bound before she starts listening to anyone.
