I entered into the amberverse later than most of you gorls, so maybe this is why the version I heard is a little different (she had time to tweak her story). This is the version I remember from her:

  • Amber's first brother was a year younger than her (and now she's saying 1 1/2 years younger).
  • When she was 8ish, brother #2 was less than a year old, and was in the crib. She found the cord from the blinds going into his crib. She checked and found it wrapped around his neck. He was both blue/purple in the face from not being able to breathe, and simultaneously screaming loudly (breathing fine, it seems) from being tangled in the cord.
  • It's unclear how she dealt with the situation. In some re-tellings, she rushes in and frees him from the cord. In others, she leaves him like that and tries to wake her nodded out parents (though I thought meth was her parent's drug of choice?) for a while. And when she can't wake them, she THEN goes to help her brother.
  • When Amber was 8-9 (I guess shortly after this event) an officer came to her school, collected her and brother #1, and put them into a police car. Then they drove to this other location, and picked up brother #2. Amber was then put into foster care.
  • While in foster care, she was taken to the hospital to visit her mother, who had just given birth to brother #3. Amber said she got to hold brother #3 before going back to the group home, but that brother #3 was adopted out and she never saw him again (until late 2020 when Jenny Craig became Jenny Bye-Bye and she pigged out in celebration because brother #3 contacted her while visiting Methmom).
  • Then somewhere around 12-13-14-15-whatever, she went back to live with her parents during a trial period. Somewhere around 14-15-whatever, she ended up going back into foster care, and was placed with a family. They were the ones who kept in touch with her even after she aged out. They were the ones who bought her extra plane seat, paid for her Weight Watchers subscription (when she was like, 20), and kept paying her phone bill until Krystal finally took over the payments.
  • Supposedly at 17ish (almost eighteen), her birth family contacted her (her aunt and maternal grandmother). She went to live with them for a while, and caused huge issues in the house between her, her mother, and her grandmother. She also caused conflicts between her aunt and her cousins. It's not clear exactly when she moved in with them, but I'm guessing that it was once she aged out of the foster care system. It wouldn't make sense for them to take her away from her family at 15-16-whenever, and then her go live with them while she's still a minor and in the system.
  • According to Amber, she was visiting Casey when her family told her that she wasn't welcome back at their house, but it's not clear if Amber suspected they were going to kick her out before she went to visit Casey, or whether she was completely blindsided by the decision. Amber left important documents at the family house, which we know because of the very messy and public social media bitchslapping convo between Amber and Aunt Tammie. This could indicate that Amber didn't know, but as Amber has a long track record of REALLY BAD decisions, it's impossible to know for sure.

I'm not saying that I necessarily believe any of these points, or whether or not they happened. I'm just saying that I believe this is the most recent iteration of the story. I mean, she also told stories about how brother #1 as a child would call her fat, spit on her, and slap her around. This was the same brother that she's now telling us she forced to pull her around in a wagon like he was a clydesdale until he finally got a hernia from it. I'm sure once holes get poked in this version, she'll say we were all wrong and come up with a completely different sequence of events.

Weird idea here. Do you think that Amber's blabbing about this event (whether slight embellishment to complete fabrication), was what caused her parents to be investigated and her to ultimately be put into foster care? Could that be why this molmunt is the one that she chose as being the most significant to write about, despite her alluding to incidents of starvation (lol), physical abuse, and even sexual abuse? That would make it a pretty significant memory - an embellished story done to 'punish' parents that weren't giving her enough attention led to the breakup of her family, and her being placed in foster care.

@TardiX That could be a complete lie, or she could have been talking about the birth of brother #2. To my knowledge, Amber hasn't given an age-range to how old her baby brother was when he was choking in the crib. Or it could be both. She could remember brother #2 being born, but the whole Christmas story never happened.

Interesting. Just this past Christmas she told us in the cave that when she was 8 she remembers her mother's water breaking on Christmas morning.

Earlier this morning I saw these "shadow prompts" on Pinterest that were just long lists of questions like "what drains your energy? what made you doubt yourself as a kid? who hurt me most and how can i forgive them? etc etc." methinks she's doing those and not actual therapy. It would be in her character imo.
 
This just gets more embarrassing by the day. You don’t get to claim that something is a disability and hell one minute while pretending nothing is wrong and everyone who says so is fatphobic the next.

For someone who claims to disagree with HAES, she sure repeats the same talking points, vehemently denying having high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, or that’s she unable to shower/wipe herself properly and walk for more than 10 minutes. Unfortunately for her, we all know she’s lying and her own videos have shown proof. I have no doubt that the reason for the hernia will soon be retconned. It’s a good thing we have a bunch of New Zealand ground nesting birds archiving this mess.

Mental, physical, imaginary...Hamber hoards everything else, so of course she is going to hoard illnesses, whether she has them or not. We all know Dr. GOOGLE is the only one diagnosing her with all these things. And then un-diagnosing when it's convenient for Hamber, like that BED she totally had until it got in her way.

She won’t be approved for WLS. At best she’ll get a real weight loss goal…not 1lb!!!

So the totally real diagnosed lymphoedema in her abdomen is now a totally real diagnosed hernia. Given the test she had months ago was a barium swallow, a hernia diagnosed through that would likely be a hiatal hernia, which she wouldn’t be feeling in her lower abdomen, and which would absolutely be repaired during WLS. A large incisional hernia is totally believable in her case especially given her vertical incision hysterectomy and extreme weight, along with further weight gain. Same with Foodie Beauty. If she thinks the surgeon will repair it at her weight, then she needs to think again. It’s pretty pointless doing an abdominal hernia repair with a BMI >40 unless it is strangulated, which hers clearly isn’t. Expect her to play it up though.
 
The way she talks about therapy sounds like the IDEA of therapy filtered through YA novels and chick lit.

In finding your roots, you often start with an old family story. When cold hard facts gleaned from government documents disagree with the family story, the family will vehemently deny it.

My entire life I heard how one grandparent's family had EVERYTHING stolen by the wicked stepmother. The oldest sibling had to take in the younger kids. But the documents indicate that the stepmother was sent packing, the kids retained 70%, then sued for the rest. The kids were Society page regulars.

But the STORY fit my parent's view that life had victimized them, and they were unlucky and blameless.

In Amber's fucking fairy tale, she is conveniently victim, hero and contributor to her family's demise, all in one incident. Why a competent therapist would encourage going over and over this shit is beyond me.

So, I do not adhear to the whole "privilege" bullshit that kids throw around to victimize themselves.
Her being a walking buttertub does have alot of fat consequences that we have to deal with. She is too fucking stupid to have a primary care physician, so she strains overburdened ER services with stupid shit like a twisted ankle, or skin infections, or upper respiratory problems that normal people don't get, or constant visits because she is so fat and stupid she cannot manage her own basic health.
She does have the privilege of sitting on her ass all day and getting fatter and fatter while contributing nothing to society. You know that she is going to be a burden of the state, so love that for us.
All her ails are self imposed, and for any fat person out there. The difference is that I think most fat people know they are wrong, and may have trouble changing...but don't try to convince the world that they are victims of society.
Her vapid stupidity brings everyone around her down to the level of a toddler, and glorifies a retard lifestyle.
So a fat fuck, retarded in every way, gets to sit on her ass and bitch about the world being unfair, and makes money that most of us here would kill for. Mabey that privilege idea has some validity, and if so she definitely has it.
