It just sounds like every time she talks about WLS, she is just coping over the fact that she either got denied, or was given a goal to get approved, that she just feels is unobtainable for her. Once upon a time, in a land far away
There lived a girl named Amberlynn, who had something to say.
She wanted to lose weight, to be healthy and strong,
And so she began a journey that felt oh so long.
She started with diets, counting calories with care,
And exercised each day to make sure she'd get there.
She tried keto and paleo, and even went vegan,
But no matter what she did, she couldn't begin.
The weight it stayed put, stubborn as could be,
No matter how hard she worked, it just wouldn't leave.
She tried shakes and pills and supplements galore,

The best part was the main reason his shit was fucking up so bad in the beginning is because he didn't want to see her fat face

What does make me a bit sad is that for a long time he actually did care about Amber. Which is why stopped acknowledging her existence. (I think Jon O2B uses any interaction with her for clout) She doesn't enrage him the way Ryann does otherwise he would be on her the way he go after Tess. I can't imagine being a fitness coach watching someone that could genuinely be your child's age killing themselves online.

The other thing I saw the other day regarding this whole "I have and OCD" storyline she's on. Last summer (ish?) when she did the reply to Appathetic Faxx's explain the lies video, one of the things was about sign language. During the original video talking about finger spelling every word, she's talking about OCD and how she was diagnosed when she was younger, but now she's rewritten it to just being diagnosed a couple years ago. I guess it's like BED where she's been "officially diagnosed" 3+ times? Or, more likely, she just can't keep up with the lies and thinks we're all as stupid as she is.

Everything she does that might require her to take responsibility is always linked to a newly diagnosed mental issue. She is a glutton but this is not her fault because she has BED, she is a klutz but she has PTSD because she wore the wrong shoes, now she needs to know the date of the surgery because of OCD.
I thing that she wants to know the date so that the surgeon would not deny her the surgery. She thinks that by having the date, she would be certain that the surgery would happen regardless. As other said, she is in the middle of the process and this is not how it works. I think, in the past, she used this tactic to get a commitment from someone to do something that Amber wanted to do. The other reason is that Amber always does “a last hurrah” binge before starting a new diet. Also, if the dietitian told her to lose even only 1 pound a month for the next year, it means that she has to restrict her eating for a year. It is not something that Amber is used to do, and is not interested in doing.
