All of these, plus that time they all went to Lexington pride and stayed in hotels. Amber came filming into Eric and Rickie's room, bitching that the boys had a handicapped shower when she needed one and didn't get one in her and Becky's room. Rickie was lying on the bed facing away from her and refused to sit up or look at her at all, just kind of grunted that he was tired.

Quite literally a silver bullet (albeit pricy) to lose weight and eliminate appetite, and she quit after a few weeks?

Honestly, she would have quit the Ozempic eventually anyway. Even if it had nothing to do with being hungry. Amber doesn’t like being uncomfortable in general (aside from being fat and tired but that’s discomfort she’s used to). Ozempic has a lot of side effects and you have to increase the dose over time. Even then, a lot of people can’t handle the effects.

If you can tolerate the autism of Reddit, just go to r/ozempic and scroll through. There are endless threads about nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, zero appetite leading to under eating and the fatigue and low blood sugar that cone with it, dizziness etc. There’s also a pretty big community of people who are on Ozempic/Wygovy on Tiktok and I’ve seen some horror stories. A lot of people simply couldn’t do it anymore. I honestly can’t even judge. Nausea is the absolute worst and feeling that way every day would be hell. Especially if you don’t know when it will stop.

From what I’ve seen, they start most people at .25 weekly and then build them up to 1mg with Ozempic. I think other versions of the drug have a higher dosage but Amber wasn’t on those. So they go up .25 every few weeks or every couple months. Once they reach the 1mg dosage, the side effects can take like 6 weeks to level out. That’s a long time to get used to a medication. Imagine vomiting every time you try to eat for weeks on end.

I’m not giving Amber an out here, I’m just saying that if she can’t handle the discomfort of going a few hours without inhaling food, she’s definitely not going to go through the process of adjusting to Ozempic. Even people who really genuinely need it for diabetes/actually want to lose weight quit so there’s no way in hell that Amber would stick with it. What she said about the gallbladder thing is technically true but I don’t know if it was true for her specifically. I feel like her doctor has at least a baseline medical history on her and they wouldn’t have put her on it in the first place if gallstones were a concern. I think she just said that because it was making her not want to eat or making her sick when she did eat and she figured she’d get less blowback from her audience if her excuse was a known side effect.

It’s a great drug for weight loss if you can make it past the initial bullshit so it’s a shame that she didn’t stick with it. Ozempic was probably the best chance she’s ever had to lose weight. The advertisements really understate how much people actually lose. I think the TV ads say an average of 12lb but don’t quote me on that. I’ve seen a couple lives from someone on tiktok who has lost 240lb while taking Ozempic and metformin. She brought her A1C down from 13 to 5. Now that she has more mobility, she’s losing weight faster because she’s added exercise to her routine. Amber could have done the same to get down to a weight that would allow her to get WLS at a bare minimum. She blew a literal golden parachute opportunity to actually change her life. After she quit the Ozempic, I knew 100% she was never gonna change. I was 99% sure before but I held out hope for something to work eventually. It’s so easy to lose weight on Ozempic that you don’t even have to try so if she can’t handle that, she’s hopeless. A total lost cause.

I came in around that time but i always looked at it like amber "graciously" paid the majority or all the rent cause she was a big (yes big) yootoob stor and could afford it.
