Here we have PSWs (personal support workers) - a certificate program. As a PSW, you can work in rehab facilities, nursing homes, or even in patient's homes. Someone I knew had to care for his elderly mother, and had a PSW in the house while he was at work. The lady would cook her meals and clean the kitchen, assist with toileting and bathing, and was then mostly a companion during the rest of the day (mainly to call for help if something happened). The lady would push his mother's wheelchair around while they went for walks in the neighbourhood, or would gossip and knit with her while watching soaps. The job wouldn't be something that you would travel the eqivalent of from New York to Kentucky to do. And there would be HUGE FALLOUT from the bad optics of a patient talking about being fucked by or in a relationship with their PSW.

Is this the type of program you're referring to? Is there another program where a family member or a partner of the patient receives some training, and then becomes a basic (paid) caregiver to ease the burden on long term rehab facilities and nursing homes?

Last I'm going to say about this because it shits up the thread.

DRS workers get paid by the state to tard wrangle and tend to FAAAAAAATs. Nearly 10 out of 10 times they are a friend/family/spouse/boyfriend or girlfriend of the FAAAAAAAAAAT. See My 600lb Life Penny's episode. Her husband ABSOLUTELY WAS DRS paid to be Penny's Wipey. He even purposely let Penny run roughshod over Dr. Now and the nutritionist because doing her program put him at GRAVE, GRAVE, IMMINENT RISK of having to get and keep a job.
And DRS doesn't pay shit. MOST DRS workers have a second, or third job. Others, like Penny's husband just use it as another in the conga line of excuses to not work at all while still getting a form of welfare.

Yeah... Hambutt has Youtube gibs. BUUUT... after talking to a WIPA counselor (person working for the state who knows all, and explains all, benefits, rules, and steps to the client), she JUST MAY (her views and dollars are tanking) qualify at least for limited hours of DRS in home caregiving.

I've never asked about a cert. But my own wife, many years ago, was a DRS caregiver for a few people living in a section 8 Jennifer Armstrong apartment complex situation type deal moment. She said she never took one, and has no certs or licensures. But she DID work two other REAL jobs to supplement the income from DRS. You have to. You don't get much to be a state paid asswipe.

Once again, NOTE: I live in a different state. I don't know Kentucky law. They are all different. But they have WIPA counselors who interpret those laws, answer questions, and assist in the steps and forms needed to get benefits. In my state... you CAN have an income and have DRS WITHOUT receiving ANY OTHER welfare. Again... those people have to get with WIPA to find out if they qualify or not.
So just because dipshit is getting Youtube bux does NOT MEAN she doesn't qualify for certain forms of assistance. SHE MAY. She MAY NOT. I don't know, but neither does anyone else, please keep this in mind.

After all, Jennifer Armstrong managed to get Youtube bux, section 8, an abject drunk boyfriend who was never kicked out, SSDI, Fud Stamps, and Medicaid.
And yep...I know Jen's channel was smaller. But REMEMBER: Amber's views have tanked. Her subscriptions are tanking, and Becky's been out of the picture for WELL OVER a year. That just may be enough to qualify for DRS to pay someone to be her in home caregiver.

Please know, I am not attacking anyone here. And I AM NOT seeding/pushing any conspiracy theories or narratives here. I said what I said because Amber and Jade's dynamics bear SEVERAL earmarks for this--including not wanting to be on camera and leaving the house only for certain things.

Another NOTE: I know of a man receiving such services through DRS, but has his own business. He actually has a working business and makes too much money. But there are some state case managers and coordinators who constantly violate ethics and boundaries with clients. Some also violate HIPAA. And nothing is ever done. The partnering agency billing the state for this man has reported the violations and begged to discharge him from the program. But they can't. They're not allowed. The state has to make that call and grant their Papal dispensation.
This is also how shitheads like Jen were able, for years, to have her drunk stay in her building, collect SSDI, possibly even pay Gene as a DRS caregiver, get Medicaid and food stamps while earning Youtube bucks and even earning possibly too much to collect welfare.
It happens more than you know.

Remember back in the Krystal era when FatAl used to go out to eat with K' and her parents FatAl would get a starter (or two, to "share", ya know?"), a main with two sides, and dessert--Every. Fucking. Time. Beyond how much Krystal's parents must have hated her there was no talk of "binging" then, or even "overeating". She just thought that's what everybody does when they go out to eat.

Now Amber doesn't know whether or not she'll show what she eats regarding the overeating/binging. She's not sure because of those judging haydur SCUM. Sometimes she can control the binge, and sometimes she can't. Her psychologist's appointment is in two days - but isn't the psychologist on maternity leave?

I guess since no one told her that the Checkers "binge" had an absolute shit-ton of fat, her gallbladder didn't know that it was supposed to hurt.

Amber's actions imply that the following is her actual 'binge' cycle: She wants something, she compulsively thinks about eating it, she finally eats it. My personal favourite part is how Amber's go-to McDonald's meal of 20 McNuggets, large fries, McDouble, large soda, and large McFlurry ISN'T a binge... but her Checkers meal of cheeseburger, large fries, 4 mozzarella sticks, and a large soda IS a binge.

This is more the activities of a 10 year old girl, not a soon to be 32 year old woman. A small PL, I am in Jamaica on holidays, and women of Amber’s age are playing the the pool, drinking cocktails, canoeing, and dancing at night clubs, not doing legos. And Amber does not think there is anything wrong with her situation?

This bring me to Jade. What is wrong with her? Would she want to have fun with other people of her age in the pool in Jamaica instead of running errands for Amber?

I want to shake the "BED" out of her. One day she will learn how to lie properly about symptoms of BED. Especially the guilt, shame, and most of all secret eating not mukbanging it on camera. *sighs*

She can doodle, color, Lego, whatever all day long. She has mental health age regression issues. It's normal for whatever she went through with drug addict parents and attachment disorders. She's a mentally stunted incapable adult with dependency issues. Even if she lost weight and was capable of taking care of herself. She just mentally cannot do it at this point. Her learned helplessness is completely engrained.
She could get the best therapy in the world and voc rehab but at this point her prognosis would be extremely limited.
Amber needs IOP treatment. She would do her damndest to manipulate everyone but under constant supervision and treatment it would be a struggle. The real problem is she would never consent to doing it. This is why I don't believe she had ever had a therapist. This would have been part of her treatment plan years ago.

Ok, I’m an expert on overeating, having done it most of my life, but I don’t have any experience with BED except for a couple of girls I knew in college.

My image of binging is mostly derived from hearing Susan Powter (yes, I’m old) talking about sitting on the pantry floor sobbing and eating handfuls of cake mix straight out of the box. Strangely enough, that’s the image Amber has tried to portray over the years: she’s disassociated (if that’s the word I want) and stuffing in food in a zombie state.

Then ChipsAhoygate happens, where she re-enacts a binge and gets bounced off of TikTok.

Now she calmly explains that she wanted McDonald’s and got Rally instead, and the so-called “binge” consists of a cheeseburger, soft drink, large fries, and mozzarella sticks. In other words, and average weekday lunch for someone who WEIGHS 500 FUCKING POUNDS.

Again, I don’t know anything about BED, but a still, small voice informs me that this performative bullshit is not BED, and that Amber is a lying liar who lies. And an ignorant fat self-indulgent cuntsicle.

She could benefit from vocational rehab, but she'd never take it seriously and would quit either on the first, or second day.
Here are some of the things voc rehab offers, depending on the agency offering it:

* Work stamina training. Come in for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours at first for a designated number of days and weeks for a designated time--say, like anywhere from 1 week to a month. Then a little more is introduced, and a little more. All to work the client up to being successful in keeping a part or full time job. (Being able to work consistently for 4 or 8 hour shifts for ex.)
* Data entry and typing. A mock office environment is provided and the client can come alone, or as part of a small group or class. They can work on their typing skills, get their WPM up, work on phone etiquette, e-mail etiquette, organization, etc.
* Resume writing, cover letters, references, job interviewing, and dress for success: Often these are free to attend classes, but small group and one on one sessions are available.
* Don't have interview attire? Can't afford any? These places often have a free store. A closet of work appropriate attire and hygiene products--all FREE! Also, my agency partners with Goodwill and give vouchers for TWO free complete outfits including shoes and outerwear for winter.
* Assistance in obtaining a forklift license or safe food handling certificate. Think that 2 hour free Youtube cert course is above your intelligence? Afraid you might not pass the easy ass test? That's okay! Voc-rehab is there to assist. You can watch/take the approved course and exam with them.
* Want to cross train? They do that too. Say you're in hospitality working at a motel. Say you're in laundry, but want to do banquet and event service. There are classes as well as small group and one on ones.

She'd kill a few birds with one stone.

* She'd probably lose weight naturally by moving more and occupying her mind with productive things.
* She might make a live friend. Maybe another live gorlfrand while out.
* She'd get a job and have skills she can take pride in.
* Which would lead to taking better care of herself.
* She'd either learn to drive or learn to take public transport which would give her more confidence.
* She might even RUHLLIZZE she doesn't actually need a girlfriend anymore and can rely on herself.
* Which might lead to HIGHER quality gorlfrand later.

But she'd have to buckle down and put in more than three days. And they don't have coloring books or expert layyygos.

It is 100% performative. The entire BED (self diagnosed of course) act is based around google definitions and poorly mimicking other attention seeking Youtubers/TikTokers.

She doesn't binge, she eats the same mound of food every single day without fail. There is never some weird drastic increase. She basically brags about it (and no, fake tears and sad expressions don't equal guilt and shame), fucking videos it (just imagine her checking the camera is in the right position before she cries) and fills her house with the worst food to have around when you're struggling with any kind of binging problem.

It's the same with the anxiety nonsense. All of her behaviour directly contradicts the supposed medical problems she has.

I guess it'd be a food addiction but even that seems a pointless label because greed is also a real thing.
The eating disorder badge of honour she's shoving in everyone's face is irritating solely because most of her audience seems to believe it.
