"What am I supposed to do with that information", she repeats, incredulous tone in her voice.
She can start by fucking right off with expecting sympathy for entirely self-inflicted medical issues. If she wasn't a super, super morbidly obese lump of self indulgence, 95% of her medical issues would never arise.
Yeah, yeah... skinny people can get all those medical issues & injuries too, but not remotely as often & generally not nearly as seriously.
First a bit of medical shit - partially collapsed lungs can be caused by really shallow breathing or blocked air passages. In & of itself, not considered urgent but it HAS to be monitored to make sure it doesn't get worse.
Ironically, tall & thin people are more likely to the spontaneous happening of partial lung collapse because of how their lungs are shaped.
Injury can cause a partial lung collapse but a sprained ankle doesn't make the list & if it did, I doubt that would be a concern weeks out.
Underlying disease is most likely the culprit - asthma, chronic bronchitis, COPD are some of the top causes. No idea how obesity plays a role but I'm willing to bet it does.
Whatever her specific cause - back to her original wail about what to do with that info... how about taking your health seriously & REDUCING the changes of many serious medical issues by dropping several hundred pounds?
As to WHY the ER didn't tell her? Maybe they did but she was too busy enjoying the 'trauma/drama' from a bit of bleeding to hear them & does she ever read her medical reports? No idea.
They probably did tell her as well as telling her to call her doctor.
She didn't get the cooing sympathy she hoped for after her last ER visit so any communication from her doctor was the perfect impetus for another "por me" whine. I see she's trudging along the well marked trail of not talking about certain things because... oversharing, privacy. It's not going to work outin the medium term for Chantal & sure as shit won't work for her... it's a path she's taken many times, only to abort when her views started dropping.
"You don't know what's going on in my life", she whines. No, I don't. I can speculate & my top 2 picks are, she's catching heat for not bailing out her dad & brother and/or, Wipey has about had enough & Amber is doing what she can to get her to stay.
But frankly, my give a shit factor is close to zero.
There are people on this site dealing with serious, life threatening diseases of their own or loved ones. I have no doubt many more than have mentioned it have lost jobs or significant parts of their income. Many have lost family members & CoVD restrictions meant no time to say good-bye in person. In short, we ALL are facing struggles - that's simply, life & life these last couple of years has been a struggle for many of us.
I'll save my empathy & sympathy for the good people on this site & elsewhere who gird their loins & face the challenges thrown at them with mostly quiet courage. In my world, a whinging toddler type like Amber is sent to its room or to bed until it learns to behave in a civilized manner.
