In a previous job, I worked with foster families. There is only one time when a foster child was sent to a rich family. The wife did not work and they had no children. She wanted to have a project and got the hot idea to foster. The child who was sent with them won the lottery. The father flew a small plane for fun so the child started to take lessons and went on a lot of great vacations etc. and overall really bonded with the father. I quit the shit job so never knew how it worked out. My guess when the woman got tired of the responsibilities she quit and the child was sent to a new home. Most of the other foster families did it as a business and treated the children as such and the children knew it. AmberLynn did not have all those wonderful opportunities she says she had.

She did not have an awful life in the system but I doubt the foster families were giving her all the things she said she got. And I would bet she was bounced around a lot. Foster families get to dictate terms because of the shortage. One little time AmberLynn was a pain in their ass she was out of there. I think she learned the fine art of manipulation from both her time with her parents and being in the system. It is a shame she is not as savvy as a lot of children who grew up in the care system but she still does use whatever it takes to get her will done.

Things may have moved on a bit since you had that job. I’ve talked to some other families in person and online, and foster families have to have a lot of opportunities for kids, at least in some states. I believe in Texas, for example, an extra curricular activity is required for each kid, and social services and charities arrange different trips and outings. One mom I talked to said she was required to buy so many clothes per month for her foster kids they started throwing them in the trash after wearing.

I’m not an expert by any means, but foster kids being spoiled is definitely a thing in some places, so I believe Amber could’ve picked up that attitude there.

There are countless private charities dedicated to giving foster kids not only extracurricular activities, but things like better clothes, and glasses that don't look like they're army issue. There are countless businesses that donate time and services to kids in care. Dance, karate, gymnastics, farms, camps, excursions, etc. It's great for business, public image, and taxes.

It's not out of the realm of believability that she had access to all the opportunities she said she availed herself of. I take it to mean she begrudgingly went once, then quit because fat and lazy.

Yes, that can happen but I would bet not as much as she is saying. And fundamentally AmberLynn cannot have it both ways. She had all this privilege in foster care while also having an awful childhood. I am sure living with her parents was awful as to be taken into care there has to be a high threshold of neglect. And the foster parents were not as loving as one would hope but she was not as privileged as she is making it sound. I am still not sure if she was sexually abused or not. In some respects she has the signs that she has but because she lies about stupid stuff and the story always changes it is hard to tell.

The LUXERY she's referring to are all surfaces. Granite, deep carpets, contemporary cabinets and appliances. Which are all probably filthy. Nice kitchen is seldom used. Extra storage just encourages overbuying and waste.

Outdoor kitchen, pool, gym, pet spa could all be real assets. Also, package reception, but she's always home.

The real luxury is living near work/parks/ entertainment/ decent restaurants. But Fatty could be anywhere, as long as UberEats delivers.

She posts this as a flex when in reality she looked "healthier" when she was bigger. There's no color to her face anymore, aside from the hypertension cheeks. Her skin is so dull and grayed out with her lips turning more and more purple as time goes on from lack of oxygen. She looks like she's wearing lipstick most of the time. The skin around her eyes looks so dirty, dingy, and discolored from the raging diabetes. Her eyes just look dead, there's no life there. She looks so severely ill you'd think it'd be concerning, but alas I'm not a doctor or Healthcare provider like our gorl.
It's been said before, but she really is looking like a corpse lately and it should be alarming that you look worse off now than you did a few years ago and 80lbs+ bigger. Love that for her.
