Is it just me or is it a little weird her face is so much darker than her arm? Weird sun distribution? Shadows?
ETA: I know there is a difference sometimes in skin tone, this just seems like a huge difference.

Not necessarily. If that channel already had a handful of strikes, just one from ALR could be enough to shut down the channel
