I very much doubt there is a mechanism for Jade to inherit any money without marrying Amber first. Even if it mostly goes to plan, she will have to get Amber to arrive at a ceremony on a set date with witnesses to go through with the marriage process and spend all the money related to this process.

When Amber snuffs it, the money will either be locked behind a password or a bank account. It would not be worth the punishment for the crime of attempting to take the one months worth of ad revenue at some point in the future. Let's face it, Amber isn't sat on a savings account, she doesn't own any nice valuable stuff, she doesn't have any property/stocks/shares/assets.

I don't think Jade is dumb enough to move away from one of the richest cities in the US for someone who doesn't really have a pot to piss in.

Again, I think her wanting to travel is purely aspirational. I bet Jade mentioned it and she acquiesced without really thinking about it. Fitting in the plane, the toilets, moving around airport terminals, taking taxis or other ground transportation at destination are difficult enough for able bodies but would be challenging for Amber unless she loses at least 300 pounds.

You don't have to have a wedding. You can use a justice of the peace or just show up at the country clerk's office, get the license, get it notarized and get married right there. This is also something that is not happening.
