NY does have one of the first, and still fairly rare, long term bariatric hospitals that will keep mega fats on for fucking years and it’s for state Medicaid recipients

Before MSHPL there was some show on TLC or Discovery about this place. Seems like the type of place Amber could end up if she can’t get another Wipey

I really haven't been keeping up. Is she talking about new York state or New York city?

Because, from what I know about NYC, isn't it near impossible to do things by car? Everything I hear from that place is people using the subway or their feet. She'd have to waddle everywhere. Not going to be happening.

There is a moment in Super Size Me where Morgan Spurlock notes how much he is struggling with the stairs of the typical NYC apartment and the fact the city required him to walk short distances all the time.
