This is beyond surreal. It's like she has the complete opposite of body dysphoria when she looks at herself. There have been recent studies that show that chronic obesity when young leads to measurable loss in IQ and cognitive thinking before middle age. It's not known entirely what the mechanism is other than that obesity affects portions of the brain negatively, and causes lasting intelligence decline when the subject is obese as a child or develops super-morbid obesity as a young adult. AL was terribly fat as a child and we all see how she is now.

This is wholly separate and distinct from brain damage done through hypoxia when the obese have untreated sleep apnea.

So yeah, there is every chance AL is becoming progressively stupider the fatter she gets.
