Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but Amber told in her phone call with Tammie who exactly SA'd her when she was 7.

It was the daughter of her aunt Kathy from her fathers side. Aunt Kathy lives in California.

That's quite a bit of information to be throwing around. And I, coincidently, have some spare time this weekend to do some online searching.

Before I make a possible unnecessary deepdive to search for this aunt and her daughter, did you ever unravelled the family tree from her father's side?

Edit: the shared obituaries in this thread combined with the ridiculous amounts of George's on that side of the tree makes me confused on who is who.

Anyone more knowledgeable in medical care have thoughts on the Beck situation? Is it possible that they have all these medical conditions and are not already in surgery? Is it safe to give them surgery with a mass in their lung? Is any of this medical info sus? I’m curious because I want to believe them out of pity but I’m skeptical for some reason but have no knowledge to explain why.

Dashers can rate people too, if she's sending out one starts left and right, they'd stop delivering to her and since she apparently has a delivery driver that's at her house so much, she knows the guy enough to talk to his wife she's definitely giving five stars and tipping well. Shit, if what she says is true and she always tips 20% I could handle a little stink for the five minutes it takes to drop her food off

Hi! Biomedical person checking in!

Yes, it is possible to have all of these happen at the same time! Anaphylaxis is basically an insane allergic reaction, the kind that peanuts can cause. The reason why it is so much worse in Beck's case is that the dye was in the bloodstream, which means that rather than just the throat swelling shut, the veins and arteries would swell shut. This would cause the swelling and bruising seen in the photo. A random mass in the lung could mean anything, but you always look to exclude the most dangeous thing possible. Don't think of these tests as to prove that there is cancer, but instead to check for infection or unusual fluid build up (especially after anaphylaxis). The blockages in the heart (I suspect it's actually in the coronary arteries) sound big and scary but these days are fairly easily treated using a wire inserted at the wrist to feed in a little tube to keep the artery open. It's about a 30-90 minute procedure that is ridiculously safe these days.

So, yeah, a lot of bad luck on top of having a really fatty diet, but entirely plausible.

Maybe it's because Becky has a history of grifting and dry begging, like what this is.
The way she says "they weren't concerned because of my age and how few symptoms" sounds like bullshit, any doctor worth their degree would see someone Becky's size (who is already in the hospital with a heart issue) and immediately think they have a significant chance of heart issues. If she's at 90-100% blockage there would definitely be symptoms, like shortness of breath, dizziness, constant fatigue, inability to do basically anything without getting breathless, including showering, getting dressed, walking more than a meter or so, lifting anything. Unfortunately that would be masked by the fact that she's fat as fuck.
Remember she went on a whole "I wanna lose weight" thing when she was with Amber and then just... didn't do anything. She deserves as much sympathy as Amber does.

Some people just get dealt a bad hand health wise, it's a bit of a lottery really not counting lifestyle and genetics.
 
Beck is poor enough to get Medicaid and hospitals are expert at getting blood from a stone. She actually shouldn't have too many financial worries from the healthcare crisis.... unlike most Americans.
