If anyone says they "hate drama," believe the opposite. People that do not engage in drama and gossip do not go around announcing that fact. Tammy had a lot of rage to put of display despite not having a clear reason. Her reasons for hating amby sounded like generic haydur ramblings-- "You MADE your mom drive you to the VET during her WORK hours, how could you DO that?!?" just absolutely stupid shit like that. I'm sure there are legitimate reasons Tammy has to be so angry with Amber but it gets so muddled when it's diluted with stupid bullshit that doesn't matter.

I could tell the entire call that Amber wanted to rage back at her but she figured if she cried and whimpered and kept a monotone voice she could make Tammy look like the bad guy, screaming at the poor victim who just sits there and is verbally abooosed. The crying was all manipulation.
 
Unlike the last few comments about this, I don’t buy the rocking back and forth was genuine. I think it was 100% a put on for dramatic effect and victim points. Further, it would distract from her complete inability to come up with any defense for the accusations being lodged against her. If she’s questioned about why she didn’t deny certain things, she can always claim she “disassociated” (a claim that she only started asserting after Becky brought up herself doing so during their relationship by the way).

Say what you will about Aunt Tammy and her motivations, I am absolutely loving this. She was articulate, direct, and managed to not let Amber manipulate her way out of topics. ALR would use classic tactics like making lesser admissions to avoid responsibility (eg “I did act that way in my 20s” and Tammy was like bitch no you’re still the same). That isn’t always easy to do on the spot the way she did.

She came prepared with guns blazing and I enjoyed the tea - especially shit we didn’t really know about like her mom being a greedy house stealing bitch, confirmation of ALR and mom’s shit relationship, confirmation of ALR & mom’s shit relationship with grandma, the shit relationship between mom and her boyfriend, etc. These are what I call truly fun facts.
 
Tammie basically said everything we knew but the fun part was her saying exactly what we all knew to Amber's face. Amber ignores a lot of criticism imo from anyone calling her out on her bullshit but having someone publicly call her out on her own livestream was great. If Tammie does maybe one more interview then fine, otherwise she can just move offline and have been a great side character. Gave plenty of crash outs

Amber's rocking back and forth seemed like she just had a lot of built up energy that would have been used for throwing things at Tammy if they had been in the same room.

I will not be surprised if her handful of actual supporters latch on to the story of Amber's dad telling her she was taking too much spaghetti. Every fat girl has a story like that. I could see it being a rallying point for fatties with daddy issues.

Oh yeah, that’s going to be the excuse from this point on, not focus on the fact that Amber should’ve gotten therapy for decades to deal with her obviously shit family. She wouldn’t have ever had to move to fucking OK if she dealt with any of her shit previously. Jade was actually a supportive partner and would have absolutely been there for her if Amber actually wanted to make ANY change at all and get real help. But let’s be real, personality disorders are really hard to treat; they require a lot of consistent work and motivation, and Amber is a lazy fucking cow that enjoys being abusive.

Weirdest Tammy moments to me:
  • Randomly bringing up Amber, 14 years old, eating a lot of spaghetti to embarass her (shes like 50-something still using an embarassing moment from 20 years ago of a literal child as shade? shaming an abused child for disordered eating is really psychotic also.)
  • Getting mad at amber for airing out family drama and then out of nowhere bring up shit like being a rape victim for pity points. As if amber had anything to do with some man raping her lmao
  • Paraphrasing here but it was basically "YES im obsessed with you- and yes I watch all your videos and all the reaction channels- but its only because I wanted a relationship with you! buuuutt also youre awful, abusive and a terrible person, and i want nothing to do with you."
  • Somebody already said this but the whole concept of aggressively calling somebody just to tell them you want nothing to do with them rofl

They are both white trash disasters. Tammy is just better at wielding it as a club and hitting people with it. Amber has never had to deal with someone who hits back the way she hits people and it left her visibly frustrated

That's typical of a narc. They have a tough, "bring it on" attitude when their talking about/to someone indirectly. But as soon as they have to communicate to the person directly, they are shrinking violets. If you follow Chantal, you saw this behavior with Nader and DeeDee. She spent countless hours talking to them through the camera, calling them every name in the book, and telling them how she was going to get back at them. ("Oh, just wait.") But as soon as the camera (either hers or Nader's) caught her talking directly to either or both, she was a complete wuss.

When my mother was a teacher way back in the day, there was a crazy parent who used to leave ranting voicemails for the principal every day at around 6 am. God forbid she should talk TO the principal if she had a grievance.

Tammie's problem is that she called into Amber's livestream in a fit of pique. I still think Amber deserved a dressing-down on camera, but it should have been planned and more carefully thought out. The stuff about the feud between her and Mamalynn over Grandma's house should also have been left out, as it really has nothing to do with Amber.

100% agree, she didn't have the cushy separation of talking through a screen and "responding" and "reacting" to Tammy anymore, she was forced into a head on confrontation so she took it like a good meek little sheep

that's why i kinda wish aunt Tammy pushed her to the limit and was even harsher with her words, maybe that would've perforated her thick ass skull and got to her, cause lord knows even though she watches alllll the reaction channels and reads everything on here it's all water off a duck's back because there's a degree of separation
