You honestly seem like a very caring person. It really is too bad that your niece doesn't see that. I know how hard it is to watch a family member self destruct but you are right in protecting yourself. I am sure you will get hated on in some forums because of her supporters but you won't get that here. We all know what a liar and manipulator she is. Thanks for coming here.

Thank you for being here and answering questions! Can you talk a little again about how Amber lied about saying she had mailed you Christmas gifts? I remember a while back you had mailed her gifts and you even saw her wearing something you sent (if I remember correctly) and she had always said she mailed you Christmas gifts also but you never received them. Just the other day when asked about it she claimed she didn't mail them at the last minute because you wanted to cut off contact with her.
I know this probably seems unimportant when looking at the big picture but I just find it disgusting how she lies SO MUCH.
I also found it disgusting how she was attempting to make herself appear like a saint by saying she always makes excuses for her "bad parents" and that she "just can't help it." Amber has always tried to paint herself as a victim and never wants to own up to being a habitual liar who uses people.
One last thing - any insight at all into why she has hardly worked at all in her lifetime? Was she just a generally lazy person in her youth?

I understand the need to eventually protect yourself when addiction hits your family, and doing that doesn't mean you don't love the addicted person. It just means you know that you can't help them and they will hurt you until they get well. This is one of the things al-anon tries to get through to people who haven't reached that thought process.

So I find everything you say here truthful and understandable. Maybe it sounds hard to people who haven't been there but it isn't. And now you are doing what you can for your sister.

Do you feel Amber is empty because of her childhood? You said she had a good foster family but she's talked about several others and group homes. Do you think that people hurt her and pushed her down the stairs? Is there a reason you didn't take her and her brother in? ( not accusing you if you couldn't).

What is it about her that hurts you the most?

And that is what makes you leagues ahead of Amber. I respect people who will face things head on and never lower themselves to lie to squirm out of the truth. Must sucks seeing your niece on a path to destruction. I know you sister had issues with drugs and Amber claims to be so "afraid" to take an aspirin because of that, but yet she eats. Does she not see this addictive personality behavior is just like her Moms just using a different drug of choice which is food?

Also, Amber lied about being sexually assaulted by a former ex. Im sure you know all about this, has she ever lied about something so grave before?

Amber moved out of my house the day I kicked my sister out due to her addiction and choices made.
Amber wanted to smart off and get in the middle of it so I said , " If she didn't like it , she could leave right along with her mom " and so she did. My BC came and picked them up and they were constantly arguing , my BC said she was so rude and disrespectful to the point she was causing major problems in her home , Amber had plans on going to "visit" Kasey and stay for 2 weeks I think and in that time .. my BC had my sister tell Amber she couldn't come back, which I agree was wrong beyond wrong. Amber stayed there permanently from that point on.

It is heart wrenching to see a lot of this. Ambers mom is a raging alcoholic as well as a drug addict , so I was sickened when I seen Amber drink in the way she has been lately on snapchat and YouNow but says she doesn't want to take an aspirin due to her mom drug issues ??? WHAT ??? What about those addicting diet pills she was taking ????? and yes food is her addiction ....

I have heard about the rape , once it was put on Youtube .... that speaks volume right ?
Can't think of anything as grave as that , a lot of her lies are petty and make no sense

Yeah Amber made a huge deal over taking regular drug store headache aspirins and blamed her Mom for that..I dont have any idea h ow one has anything to do with the other..
Yeah her drinking has been a bit of an issue since Destiny left her and her new group of friends like to partake in weed smoking and drinking quite a bit. A few days ago Ambers eyes looked mighty glazed over people were commenting about that here.
I am sorry about your sister but at least where she is she can get clean and medical care, I do hope she pulls though and her life can be set on the right path.

So she made the sign you were talking about when she was a personal care attendant in Florida? As far as we know that was her first job.

I always feared Amber would have many addictions on top of her food , I see the signs a lot lately. I now how it is to want to escape , especially during hard emotionally times and she is making her days stressful, I wouldn't be surprised if Amber did smoke weed even though she probably won't admit it ( she admits she has in past , just not current ) I know Destiny did ( does ) but Amber always told me she doesn't, once they got together . I believed her though because in my family weed is the least of our worries and its majorly viewed as acceptable. ( all the weed haters are gonna come for me now lol )

as sad as it is that my sister is in prison (especially dealing with cancer ) I am grateful she is where she is .
She told me recently : " I believe God brought me here, so we could find this out "
She is healing mentally , spiritually and I'm praying hard physically as well
Thank you , until our last breath I won't ever give up hope of complete healing

I dont see weed at all as a big deal at all but drinking is. At her size the amount of drink she would need to ingest to be drunk is a lot! Strange how she knows her Mom had issues with drinking but yet deems drinking okay but weed is a no no these days. I dont know, maybe she doesnt want to admit she uses a drug that is still illegal in her state online. She also seems to drop friends that she claims to "love" very fast. Seems she can drop family just as easily. I am glad you are going on with your life in a positive light, Amber IS toxic and will remain to be left behind due to it and on and on she will spin from one group of friends to another and so forth until shes alone and will just keep eating to fill this void.
What do you say to some of Ambers "supporters" on You Tube who egg her on to do these eating shows?

Welcome, Tammie. Congratulations on your weight loss and good on you for trying to help Amber with the same, even if she didn't follow through. I have a question that isn't about anything specific but it's always been something I wanted an insider's opinion on but nobody who knows her will comment about. Amber doesn't seem to have any boundaries or much respect for the privacy of others. She vlogs generally everything, with or without a person's knowledge. How does that feel as someone who knows her personally? Knowing she publicly puts everything out for the world to see, family issues, names, personal information, truth or not.

Hi Tammie! Thanks so much for doing this! You've been awesome about answering our questions and we definitely appreciate it!

I don't think the weed is a big deal.. I think it's extremely detrimental for people with Binge eating disorders, however, and as of late she seems to be going off the deep end with substances.

Sorry if this is a weird question but is there anything redeemable about amber or her character? She seems to be getting worse and worse and digging deeper holes for herself.

Is she really just a leech that sucks the life out of her hosts or do you think she's just a confused broken person who's terrified of responsibility? She's obviously a toxic person but with toxic people it's difficult to tell at face value if that's really all there is to them. I hope that makes sense.
