This is one major reason I don't think it's true. There are hospital grade pads that might absorb a liter. but just emptying your bladder for 24 hours on a pad laying on furniture is going to lead to problems. Amberlynn would have skin breakdown and other issues from sitting in urine. I personally believe Amberlynn still has the mobility to use a toilet. She sits on the couch, which would be difficult if she didn't have some mobilty requiring a fair amount of core control (or she'd slide off onto the floor quickly). She maintains an upright position for over an hour.
