To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Amberlynn Reid. The poetry is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Young Adult novels most of the verses will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Becky’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation - her personal philosophy draws heavily from lesbian Wattpad literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these verses, to realize that they're not just well written- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Amberlynn Reid truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Amberlynn’s existencial catchphrase "I’m liveennnn" which itself is a cryptic reference to Amberlynn’s poem Rain and petals eavesdrop I used the wrong word. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated haydurs scratching their heads in confusion as Amberlynn’s genius unfolds itself on their Android screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Norma Jean Williams tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand

I especially love her use of repetition for emphasis. It forces the reader to reconsider what she has just said. "Ask her how she's doing and she'd probably lie and say she's fine. Ask her how she's doing and she'd probably lie and say she's fine. ASK ME HOW I'M DOEEEEEEEENN!" Here she plays with the rule of three, adding a slight variation to the phrase the final time, a point of view switch, which lets the reader in on a secret, that the poem was about her the whole time.

I do not think she is broke but she has gone through a lot of her savings buying impulsively such as those graphic novels. Moving will cost her a lot of money since she does not drive, and need to pay someone to do it.

Amber bought most of the furniture. I am not sure if she wants to move it all. Becky did not bring much, clothing and such. Becky's family will move her out quickly; not so much for Amber. Besides, who wants to buy the couch where Amber spent most of her days?

I doubt she will want to, because she's such a drama queen. "I can't," she'll sniffle, "I can't even look at this couch without (sob) thinking of Becky! And that table," she'll say, pointing to it with one of the sausages attached to her balloon hand, "that's where we would eat our meals separately. I just don't know how I'm going to bet through this!" She breaks down, crying almost uncontrollably except for that one moment where she looks into the viewfinder and makes duck lips at herself.

Her savings are depleted and her YT income has plummeted. She’s needs to come up with a pile of money fast if she’s ending the lease and will need to move ASAP. I’d bet they are counting on ad revenue from live streaming parts of the break up too.

I get the idea that the lease needs to end this month or they have to sign on for another year so the pressure is on now. I get the idea they don’t think they will be getting their deposit back either given Amber and the pets filth build up.

It’s going to be a lot of effort for not much money. Most of the shit Amber buys is worth 80% less the moment she opens the box, and even less than that if she wears or uses it.

She might get some pity buying from her weird fat girl and trashy old housewife fanbase, but even then she’s looking at $20k spent and maybe $2,500 back if she’s luck and really works at it.

Ironically most of her furniture has as much comparative resale ROI value as the clothing, ie not much, and it can’t be (or isn’t worth being) shipped. Any furniture Amber used got destroyed by her bulk and smell. The other stuff that served as props is cheap garbage that she might get 25% back on if she had a yard sale or local FB MP sales.

The most return they get on any of it was the fancy unused mattress they sold off. Good thing Amber didn’t use it. One week with her in it and it would have been unsellable.

Their lease was up at the end of June if they has a 1-year lease and are likely on a month-to-month basis. She likely will need to move by the end of July. The landlord may want a new lease if she wants to stay longer.

I do not think she will get that much. Most people overestimate how much their stuff is worth. Unless she has antique jewelry, she might get a few hunderd dollars. Most of her clothes are Torrid or Hot Topic rubbish that no one wants. Better gives them to a charity store.

She sold the bed a few months ago for around a thousand dollars. Her bedroom has a makeup table and rubbish. Becky’s room has her bed, tv, game station and not much else. The dining/living room has the kitchen table and chair which she could sell, and the couch where she sleeps. That couch is likely worth nothing. There is also a comfy chair and a tele.
Not much really for a 2-bedroom flat. I think she is better off keeping the most important and sentimental pieces and disposed of the rest, or sell them to Becky, and buy new where ever she moves to.

Many places will let you go month to month, as long as you give 30 days move out notice to them.

I also cannot imagine paying 6K for a mattress that you neve used and then selling it for a third of what you paid. It's insane, like she though her (then) current YTbux would continue at that level or go higher, even as the scope of her videos continue to shrink as she became bedbound. Then I remind myself that a) she is not a big thinker and b) she's stupid with her money.
