I always laugh at that statement by becky that she doesn't want to be on camera cause the haydurs,but is more than happy receiving and spending the money from them while doing absolutely nothing with her life.

I like to fantasize that Becky will come back having lost a lot of weight and looking like the neon 90’s cartoon tumblr twink we always knew she was inside.

She’s lost some weight before, and if it wasn’t for Amber, I think she could make it to just being chubby.

She’s got issues but she somehow still has common sense, like saying “no” to eating out when she’s trying to lose. (And then quickly crumbling when Amber binge monster gets abusive with her).

There’s some sense of taking accountability and being disappointed when she fails, as opposed to Amber crying about how hard it is and how the binge monster isn’t her fault or her at all for that matter.

We've all met that person who ONLY reads a certain subset of books (like vampires, or romance, or sci-fi) and I'd assume her interests are similarly narrow. If she does in fact read to escape she isn't going to pick up a memoir or any non fiction book and she sure as hell doesn't strike me as someone who'd read the news.

I know exactly what you mean, but I don't think that's the case here. A kid or anyone reading the word, say, genre, knowing what it means and how to use it, but not hearing it, thus not knowing how to pronounce it is normal. As they hear the word more, they'll begin to say it correctly or be corrected by someone else. Some of the mistakes she makes are more idiotic, than, 'I read, but am unsure of the pronunciation' or using a word where another would've been better. Even the way she puts her thoughts together, at its worse, the phrases are just dumbly combined like 'scrumption down', 'sexually strived', or in the example I listed of 'smiling with air' that's poor articulation/lack of a vocabulary to pull from. That's more than, say, pronouncing 'subtle'(suttle/suh-tul) like 'sub-tul' and saying "he wasn't very sub-tle about it', which would be used correctly in the right context, but said incorrectly from not having heard the word. That would be understandable.

While not scholars, her friends do know basic grammar and can articulate their thoughts. What gets me is, we've seen Destiny and even mild mannered Becky correct her word usage, which points to them doing it offline, with the reasoning that, if they'd do it in a vlog for the public, they're definitely doing it privately. People joke about Destiny being stupid, but her grammar is generally fine. She has the knowledge that you'd expect from someone who graduated high school, even if she looks a bit slow and acts immature. Amber may not surround herself with geniuses, but none of them, that I can think of, speak more poorly than she does. Not Eric, Rickie, or even Dana.

To be honest, stuff like,'impreciating, 'inscrutiating', talking about how to 'storage' something rather than store it, her scale not being 'liable' (rather than reliable), basic grammar mistakes like not knowing the past-tenses of common words, highered rather than raised, dogs having natural extinct, declaring she hasn't 'dranked' water, saying 'wroten' instead of written, and declaring ' I've never almost drownded" point more towards dull/dumb than anything else. That's how a 4 year old speaks, rather than a 14 year old *who might benefit from audiobooks.

* I see Becky has been located. That's an.. interesting haircut and she's lost a lot of weight.

I have some information about the apartment complex and surrounding area that Amber lives in.

The Henry is part of a quickly- and cheaply-built shopping center called The Summit at Fritz Farm. In the past 25 years or so, super-rich Thoroughbred horse farms in Lexington have downsized and turned to leasing large portions of their land to build large outdoor shopping centers and neighborhoods complete with churches. The area around The Summit was already a long-established neighborhood but The Henry apartments were built in the back of the clusterfuck that is the shopping center consisting of mostly restaurants (Lexington is obsessed with restaurants). In Google maps you can see the entrance to the office area, but there are many keypad-locked doors going to the apartments which are built above the office and reach up many floors on either side of the street there and one of the parking garages is attached to both sides. I'm going to assume there are elevators inside but the general public can't get in at all.

Like many "luxury" apartments, The Henry is stupidly overpriced. I know the forum has looked at the website and has seen square footage vs rent cost ($1150 for 768sqft 2BR 1BA or something like that). If it were in a large metro area that would be impressive, but Lexington with less than a million in population including all the suburbs that rent is ridiculous and I have never understood why people choose to live in these tiny apartments in complexes like this one. You can rent an actual freestanding house twice that size for around $850 though houses get smaller and prices get higher in the more "fancy" neighborhoods with HOAs and all that. Since corona the housing market is down and I've seen some really nice houses up for $700/mo recently. However most everywhere only does year leases and wants them renewed year after year so she's not getting out of there before next summer without owing The Henry a large sum of money.

I can answer pretty much anything about the area, but no I can't or won't go stalking after this hambeast. She never leaves the apartment anyway and she never will because doing so involves walking a fair bit: to the elevator, to an outside door, to wherever Becky's car is parked in the garage. Becky could drive the car up to the nearest door in the parking garage but Amber would still have to walk all that way in order to leave. This is why she has spent even more time indoors than she already was when living in a house. And... I hope someone is taking those dogs out to potty 5-6x+ per day as dogs need. Gross.

Also, that Target is an absolute shithole. It was nice back in the 90s but that building has been there forever, it was branded Gold Circle in the 1980s and Target has kept up the outside of it but inside is just dirty with the shelves and especially the clothing and shoe areas trashed at all hours of the day. I'm wondering if they've ever even changed the carpet. The Walmart is much nicer, and that's a Walmart. The Target doesn't have much of a grocery area either, although they moved some shelves around and made a produce section around 8-10 years ago. The building it is in will never get bigger so it'll never be a Super Target unless they buy out some more of the strip where it's located to expand. They mostly just have junk food there (no surprise).
