Was it a bad childhood, a personality disorder, some combination?

I miss the days when a person was just an asshole. and they were to be avoided instead of understood and tolerated.
 
I don't disagree that her childhood was shit. But as a 29 year old woman with the time, money and every resource at her fingertips, I can't feel sorry for her either. Her adult life has been one handed to her on a silver platter, so I do agree in that sense. She's never had to struggle, really. She's never had to work. Her choice in partners ensures that her every need is catered to, which is why she can confidently assert that she'll never get a driver's license, for example. Easier to say she's "afraid" of driving, rather than admit that apathy is her default state and will continue to be her default state until 1) Becky grows a spine or 2) Becky's driving becomes so dangerous that Amber decides it's not worth risking HER personal safety anymore.

So never. 🤷‍♀️

It's very hard to find any sympathy for someone that never tries, never considers others, and is so content to stay that way.

So in summary, everyone has a point here. It's not black and white, but given Amber's choice to remain stagnant for the past couple decades, she doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt either.

Exactly. She's not actively doing anything to better herself or work on her childhood trauma, and at the same time she's clinging to those things as a way to justify her behavior. You can't do that.

Normal people recognize that their shitty childhood has potentially turned them into a shitty adult, and so they go to fucking therapy and work on it. And those people most likely work at real jobs and maybe don't have the excess money to comfortably pay for therapy, unlike Amber who has all the time in the world and obviously enough money to spare. That's why we can't stand her. That's why "muh childhood" excuse isn't valid for her.

Even if they don't want to go to therapy it's not too hard to look around and notice what are and are not acceptable behaviors, or ask friends about it.
Amber knows what she's doing because she can turn it off and on. Notice when she's in her kiss-ass phase of the cycle she speaks to people like they're people? Then she gets sloppy and full of herself and starts being arrogant and dumb. Then she realizes she's gone too far and starts behaving nicely again, until it doesn't suit her and she starts shitting on everyone again.

She's definitely mentally ill and too far gone to get real help, she had a shitty childhood and it seems like barely anyone tried to make her change for good at the right time idk it seems like she's created this world in her head where she's a dainty healthy gorl who only tells the truth and gets hate for no reason.
The level of delusion she's currently on is so fucking scary and weird and I feel like nothing will change her mind even if she goes thru a near death experience she will keep believing she's immortal and nothing's wrong with her

I always wondered where that came from. Were these people overpraised as children? Or are they compensating or protecting themselves. I really never understood that effect.

Idk why but this picture reminds of The Evil Within :)

I think its because mayo has a very strong flavor and since most fatsos have nuked their taste buds to oblivion with salt and processed food mayo is a condiment they can actually kinda sorta taste.
 
Since Becky made Amber stay home and eat beans for her birthday, I imagine she's going to make Becky carry on her back all the way to Lexington for an orange chicken orgy weekend as punishment.
