So why does the ncr have custom made power armor, exactly? In the new vegas canon, they rip out all the electric bits and servos of brotherhood power armor and put the shells on their biggest baddest troopers because they don't know HOW to use power armor... and suddenly they can just make their own?
This show isn't canon, there is your answer. We might as well be asking why The Vault dweller was chilling in the city of Los, nobody cares because BOS for PS2 or Xbox isn't canon either. This shit show is of the same caliber, except writing for BOS is much better.

This show isn't canon
Sorry to break it to you but it is in fact canon, Todd Howard is working on it. You can not like Bethesda Fallout but it's canon. Further, if you dislike the show, don't watch it. If you're hate watching this you're just driving new seasons. If you don't like the media slop stop fucking watching it, stop bitching about it, just fucking ignore it.

Nobody is going to take it seriously aside from the retards still getting excited about Fallout 5, for whatever reason. At this point, being a BOS game fan would unironically be less unhinged than taking any of this bullshit from the TV show at face value, as anything other than fanfiction. That's the fate of this show, nobody cared about S1 even around the time S2 was right around the corner, nobody will give two shits about S2 in a few months until S3 eventually gets shat out just like nobody gives a shit about BOS 12 years later.

So yes, de-facto non-canon by actual fans of the games. If you think the show is canon, you're not a fan, you're a tourist and your opinion doesn't matter. Some brainless moron who watched the show yesterday and never played the game isn't a "fan" either, and you're both in the same category as far as I am concerned. You're free to believe whatever you want, just do it form the corner over there, where nobody has to deal with you. Everybody else will continue to ignore this sorry excuse for cinema, as they should, and just pretend it never happened while they play the games. Hell, even fanmods have more right to be canon than the TV show, likes of Sonora and Nevada might as well be and definitely have more right to be, but tourists like you probably don't even know what I'm talking about right now.

If you think the show is canon, you're not a fan, you're a tourist
You're an absolute retard trying to one-up people by being the bigger fan of a game series that is essentially dead. Also, way to just assume my thoughts on the show beyond whether or not it's "canon". I see why you have your pink triangle, faggot. If you don't like the show, don't watch the show, have nothing constructive to say or critique the show beyond "I don't like it" why even post in the thread?

No counter argument, and even if you had one, your opinion is irrelevant. Fallout fandom survived worse turds than the TV show, which will be forgotten soon enough(by anyone that is actually part of this fandom). You're clearly a tourist if you think anyone should respect it enough to "just not watch it", you're not going to tell me what to do. I've been a part of this fanbase for almost 30 years now, I wouldn't be surprised if you only heard about Fallout when 4 came out 10 years ago, and I am generous here. I will do as I please.

You enjoy shitty fanfiction, if you don't like it, stay in your little corner and pretend that your fanfiction will ever be canon and matter outside of toddslop microtransactions/paid mods/Fallout 5, which in itself will probably flop almost as hard as BOS, if Starfield and 76 is anything to go by and therefore is already irrelevant before it even came out. Fallout Frontier will always be more canon than the TV show because it's "so bad it's good" almost, TV show is purely awful with zero redeeming qualities aside from bringing over thousands of mewling, retarded niggercattle into the "fandom" that never played the games. You're the insignificant party, not me, and I will not even bother hiding my disdain for this shitheap and it's fanbase. I thought Bethesda fanbase were the niggers of this community, but not any longer, they almost seem tolerable now in comparison to the TV cattle.

Yeah? Well I've been listening to them since before they even did their first demo. I watched them rehearse in the drummer's dad's garage when they were still called The Flaming Faggots.

So this episode was the same as every other episode. The first scene is them getting out of trouble immediately. No one dies in the entire episode. Nothing really happens. It's all just a setup for next season. Brotherhood vs Enclave, what literally everyone predicted, and taking place in Colorado. We already see the Brotherhood will be building Liberty Prime Alpha in the next season to fight the Enclave.

No announcement of Fallout 3 or NV remasters. No new Fallout 76 content or anything like that. No announcement of the Fallout game show or reality show that Amazon is making. That countdown was apparently nothing more than a countdown to the final episode premiering.

S2E8
The NCR battalion mentioned earlier in the season is real, the Black NCR lady and one of her rangers shows up to save Maximus after his Power Armor is disabled. There is a shot recreating the intro to New Vegas with a Ranger slow mo shooting a Deathclaw with a Anti-Material Rifle.
Steph married Hank pre-war in Vegas, and the item she wanted from the keepsake box is a Enclave Pip-Boy. How Mr House didn't know what the Enclave was, despite them having their own Pip Boy's is a mystery.
Hank says he sent out numerous brainwashed people into the wasteland to fulfil The Enclave's plans before wiping his memory via a control chip.
Culkin retrieves Caesar's body, revealing the note to read "I am Caesar, I am Legion, It dies with me." He kills the soldier who see's him holding the note and then eats the note, destroying it.
The Legion is marching on Vegas at the end of the episode.
Cooper is heading to Colorado to find his family, Barbara left him a postcard in her empty Cyropod. My Enclave in Cheyenne Mountain Complex theory is almost certainly true.
The Enclave has been listening to radio transmissions since the start of the season and probably the entire series, their base from Season 1 is seen again and it's in the Mountains.
Cooper gets arrested for Unamerican Activities after coming home from Vegas, he tells Barbara to let him take the blame, and he does. This likely leads to their implied divorce and why she would be in Colorado.
Qunitus's Brotherhood is going to war against the other chapters, he says Qunitus the Unifier is dead, Qunitus the Destroyer is now born. He has plans for Liberty Prime.

Amazingly dogshit episode, Season 1 didn't leave this many cliffhangers, 99% of the plot lines in this season just end on Cliffhangers.

So Lucy and Maximus are staying in Vegas and Cooper is now on his own in Colorado. Frankly, that's for the best. I have no doubt Season 3 opens with the Enclave showing up and obliterating everyone in the Vault as a reference to the opening of Fallout 2. Another point and soyface moment just like with the NCR sniper this episode. I for sure thought Lucy was going to kill Hank once he mindwiped himself out of mercy. Then the writers could once again give her an out for killing someone. House is still out there as he is seeing flashing on the monitor for a brief second.

If you genuinely thought they were gonna drop remasters of 3 or New Vegas tonight, I feel genuinely sorry for you being that stupid. Bethesda is too fucking retarded to make a decision that smart.

I have so little to actually say, which is a feat given I've written hundreds of words over the most minor and inconsequential of things pertaining to this show.

I was afraid they didn't have the amount of time required to conclude everything, and that feels like an understatement now.

The season was all set up with few to no actual pay offs for any of the arcs within. This is likely a product of the showrunners knowing well before the announcement that they were getting a 3rd season. That means you have tons of incomplete arcs, both old and new, not giving the series any real sense of satisfaction from a story point of view.

Two of the three completed arcs/plot threads belonged to inanimate objects: the cold fusion McGuffin, which is now safety entombed within the Lucky 38, probably to be forgotten by the next season. Caesar's note (The Legion died with me). The other completed arc was Chet, which is why he's a top 3 character. (Ghoul/Cooper, Norm, Chet)

At least Housechads stay winning.

Other than that all I can say is I was somehow disappointed despite my expectations already being below the floor. Other than a few jingling keys (Ranger sniper shot being similar to that of FNV's opening, except cringe), I think the actual flaws of this episode in greater context of the seasons arcs just not mattering might legitimately turn even redditors against the show.

I'm at work, what happens to House and Norm?
House get's Cold Fusion, I don't know if he's confirmed to be a AI or if he's still supposed to be alive in his pod.
Norm almost gets killed before his chink gf gets thrown against a wall, which hits the elevator button and unleashes the radroaches onto the Vault 31 dwellers, all of them except for Norm and the Asian chick he likes die.

House lives. He got his cold fusion thingie and is now 'alive'. It's him 1:1 and it turns out his physical body had been attacked so often that he knew in advance he needed to upload himself. For a moment he becomes a wearable companion for Cooper, opening doors for him in the Vault before being left behind. Other than being a slight prick and waxing on about Cooper relying too much on "hope", he's not too objectionable all things considered. Unless they do a 180 and have him go Jamie Lannister i.e. "I never gave a shit about Vegas" he's fine all things considered, probably the least harmed by the show's writing. (Since the mind control shit ultimately doesn't matter, the 3 deaths at the start of season 2 will probably not factor into anything)

Norm survives a bunch of radroaches attacking the dwellers (they somehow fuck things up and lock themselves in a small room with them). But rejoice, his soon-to-be Asian GF survived the massacre somehow and he's hauling her back to the Vault, his arc this season basically:
1) Escapes Vault 31
2) Learns the existence of F.E.V and 'phase 2' (just their names he doesn't actually know what they are)
That's it.
