Was it a Liberty Prime nuke? Also who knew that a Liberty Prime nuke could destroy such a big place... It really is a show made by and for retards.
It's a cope that was officially adopted by the showrunners and Mr. Howard, too.His video reminded me that people can no longer cope about the timeline.
I find it strange that you're writing in a thread about discussing the Fallout show, only to tell us that “real“ Fallout fans don't talk about the show, whether negative or positive. If you watched this show, even ironically, you deserve this stupidity and you deserve to deal with it. Actual Fallout fans will continue to ignore both Bethesda and Amazon as they always had.
Hating this atrocity is a normal reaction from any well adjusted individual, as is mocking anyone who takes it seriously. If you're living under a rock, everything in the show is now confirmed to be the basis for Fallout 5I find it strange that you're writing in a thread about discussing the Fallout show, only to tell us that “real“ Fallout fans don't talk about the show, whether negative or positive.
But to each their own, I guess.
Yeah, not gonna lie, you are just wrong here. Mini Nukes are actually mini, Liberty Prime's nukes seem more in line with a conventionally small Nuke. Fallout 4 has one of the main brotherhood missions being about tracking down a Military stockpile to find a large quantity of these nukes, and they are in lore intended to be dropped from planes. (Prime uses what's called in Fallout 4 Mark 28 Nukes, which were Airforce ordnance that could be modified to be thrown by Prime.)I always got the impression that he threw the same size mini-nukes used by the player.
This was a big discussion point during season 1, and Godd Howard himself had to step in and "clarify" that the Nuking of Shady Sands happened after Fallout New Vegas, and that the "Fall of Shady Sands" was a different thing. His video reminded me that people can no longer cope about the timeline.
That crater is the type you'd probably see from a underground explosion I'd think, and even then it looks way too big. The largest man made crater is the Sedan crater, which was a result of the government testing if Nukes could have civilian uses like excavation. The Sedan crater is only 330ft deep and 1,280 ft in diameter, the Shady Sands crater looks way bigger than that. I have a feeling if Shady Sands is ever seen again, they'll retcon the crater a bit. This is the kind of minute detail I don't usually care about, but would any nuclear physicists care to weigh in on whether that bomb in the show is big enough to make this kind of crater?
I thought the nukes LP used were bigger than the mini-nukes used by the player, otherwise what would be the point of having such a machine? Was it a Liberty Prime nuke?
It's definitely the same model, but I think this one is much larger than his handheld ones.

That's what they look like on his older model. They're about the size of his head, which is smaller than a person.

This means that this cancer is finally invading the actual games, altho thankfully Bethesda's titles are also non-canon, so a minor nuisance. That game is going to be a legendary flop if Starfield showed that Bethesda isn't immune to their games becoming one, and if this show is indicative of the level of "writing" we're about to get. I can't believe Fallout POS for the PS2 and Xbox ended up being one of the better games that came out of this franchise just by sheer volume of the amount of slop Bethesda produced, it's certainly head and shoulders over anything that came out of Amazon.
I was really, really hoping there would at least be a throwaway line or something that tells us literally anything about what the "Fall of Shady Sands" is and why the NCR went from a rapidly ascending dominant civilization to a fucking joke. This was a big discussion point during season 1, and Godd Howard himself had to step in and "clarify" that the Nuking of Shady Sands happened after Fallout New Vegas, and that the "Fall of Shady Sands" was a different thing.

I stand corrected on the type of nukes, but I'm honestly fine with Hank just having access to whatever he'd need to make the big kaboom happen. What I'm not fine with is him nuking an entire city just to kill one wife.I thought the nukes LP used were bigger than the mini-nukes used by the player
To shoot cool eye-beams and yell meme lines, of course! After all, it's from Fo3.otherwise what would be the point of having such a machine?
I'm so glad you brought that up, because I also immediately thought that it was a crater from a buried bomb - I spent the entire time waiting for season 2 thinking that Vault Tec had buried enough nukes around the USA (and/or the whole world) to re-apocalypse the wasteland and leave it depopulated enough for Reclamation Day to happen. Retarded and comically evil? Yes, but it makes more sense than what we're seeing in the show now. That crater is the type you'd probably see from a underground explosion
In episode 5 of season 1 this library card ends at 2276. I think what happened is 2277 is the year Shady Sands was nuked in the show but then backlash had Todd intervene because otherwise the show just so happens to make New Vegas non-canon. I think they pushed the nuking to 2283 but I might be wrong.Personally I think whoever made the chalkboard with the timeline just didn't put much thought into the dates, put down 2277 as the nuking of shady sands, and no one noticed or cared until it was on amazon.
"Fallout 5 will take place in the same universe as Fallout TV show and follow up on it's events"View attachment 8351075
There is a really dumb way of interpreting this.
i.e. "Fallout 5 will release and exist in a world where the Fallout Tv show exists."
Todd's statement doesn't assert whether Fallout 5 will take the show's events into consideration lmao.
If anything, the "taking into account" thing could be a remark on making it necessary that Fallout 5 also serve as an introduction to the series for people coming off of the tv show or something. Could be cope but it's not impossible.
They don't need to, since anyone who watches this show is a drooling retard and doesn't care what happened to them. They want more Nuka Cola, they want more deathclaws, and they want more reddit dialogue from "the ghoul" or whatever other awful characters they have now in the roster. Nobody gives a shit about old factions or worldbuilding when you can have wacky humor and low-budget, awful looking action sequences instead with a few memberberries thrown in to make soyboys pogmouth on youtube over. Amazon is, rightfully, appealing to it's target audience, ie not Fallout fans.I was really, really hoping there would at least be a throwaway line or something that tells us literally anything about what the "Fall of Shady Sands" is and why the NCR went from a rapidly ascending dominant civilization to a fucking joke.

I've already given my opinion on why Hank nuked Shady Sands, he's a control freak and wanted to punish his wife and by extension Shady Sands for defying him. He's just comically evil.I also understand the need to de-populate the wasteland from a showrunner perspective. Not enough budget to show the NCR in its prime. But instead of having it be part of Vault Tec's evil plan, it's because Hank got cucked by a brown lesbian.
I think that's right? It wasn't long after 2281 I remember that much. Bethesda has no reason to retcon New Vegas out of existence, so I fully believe the show writers just fucked up some dates and no one caught it. They are certainly playing it a lot more careful with season 2 and any retcon it does. So far all I can think of is whatever plot is going on with house, and even then it's impossible to fully call it a retcon until we see it finalized, and some location changes like with Novac and Vault 24(?).I think they pushed the nuking to 2283 but I might be wrong.
My understanding is that the prop department and concept artists were given access to Bethesda's model viewer and all the assets from the 3D games, so that was the first thing that showed up when they searched for a nuclear bomb. Was it a Liberty Prime nuke?

Speaking of minute details, there is a ruined truck in the path of the caravan guy. How'd he get that out of the way all by himself?
View attachment 8350264
Also, how fuckin' sus is it that the caravan is just one guy, no brahmin to pull the cart?

Where are all your guards? What company are you with? Why do you keep repeating the line from Fallout: New Vegas instead of answering our questions? Shoot him, boys!

I guess the "fall of Shady Sands" was them all becoming retarded and giving up on defending against outsiders or raiders. It was probably the neo-democrats that tore down the walls for being racist.
It is definitely happening, and I am guessing daddy Microsoft is going to push it out faster than Bethesda would like. That just means it will be handled by pajeets and a horde of AI prompt typers to make the game faster while Bethesda focuses on TES6, not like it matters since the show proved that they could package a piece of shit in a box that says "Fallout" and people will still buy it, anyways. The normalfags they attracted thanks to Amazon are a market too big to pass up, and it's not like they know how a Fallout game is supposed to look anyways, so anything will do.I don’t know why any of you faggot are arguing about Fallout 5 like it matters.
TES 6 is not dropping until 2028, so most likely Fallout 5 is not coming out til at least 2032 if not later. And that’s if it even happens.
