Amazon Studios to develop series based on Fallout

I’m not going to even bother pointing out how Bethesda is going out of its way to destroy everything that was beloved about New Vegas because it’s obvious that Todd Howard is using this show to build up to Fallout 5; he is a petty faggot who needs to destroy what hasn’t been created by him so that Bethesda can completely rinse their hands of Obsidian’s legacy and retcon it with their own garbage. I knew they were going to disregard Fallout 1 canon completely and I had a bad feeling New Vegas was on the chopping block, I just didn’t actually think they’d be this disrespectful and destructive. The enmity for that game just oozes out in full glory in Season 2.

The writing in this show is fucked. It’s just fucked. Mr House is a complete fucking retard in this show. The person earlier in the thread who compared his dialog to that of a Redditor pseudo-intellectual is right on the nose.

Also speaking of which…Redditors are already defending this complete butchering of Mr House’s character by bringing up his (valid) crashout when the courier refuses to give him the platinum chip in New Vegas. Media literacy is in the toilet.

Why Betty hasn’t killed the incest group at this point is beyond me.
I'm beginning to realize that themes take priority over logic at every single turn with this show. I was actually disappointed when the incest aristocracy dance number turned out to be a daydream. This show would work much better as a musical.

And you'll still watch them.

This is why this garbage continues to get made.
Surely there are better things to do with your life.
Let us hate-watch in peace! I highly doubt that we'd make much of a difference to the viewer ratings even if we were all watching on amazon or wherever the fuck the show airs. I haven't paid for anything in 10 years.

Episode 7 is called "The Handoff", so it's certainly going to be about how the Enclave ended up with cold fusion. Also, there's a Funko Pop (yes really) of House from this season, and said Funko Pop includes the platinum chip.

Putting aside the fact a Mr House Funko Pop now exists, I assume this is a spoiler, and the Platinum chip will appear at some point in season 2, maybe even in episode 8.
(if anyone cares, there is also a Pop of Culkin as Caesar, so it's confirmed 100% he becomes Caesar.)

I'm still waiting for the flashbacks to reach the point where they explain how Cooper managed to get his daughter to safety on horseback at ground zero for a nuke.

I can’t believe six episodes are out so far. What happened.

Lucy and the Ghoul made their way to New Vegas, saw a Deathclaw, the Legion has kind of been introduced, Lucy’s father is doing experiment, and they’ve kind of introduced super mutants. Oh, and some vault bullshit is happening, and Brotherhood civil war.

How is that not two to maybe three episodes at most if you wanted to stretch it?

Pre episode discussion: I'm really interested how Lucy ends up in that yellow dress from the trailer. Either Hank leads her into some kind of trap where she is incapacitated where he would then dress her in that dress (creepy af). Or for some reason, she sees his view and goes along with it? (don't really see any evidence of that though) or she just randomly decides to put it on to be fashionable (?), which doesn't make much sense.

Given the end of episode 6, I think she's going to at least humor his plan, maybe believing him to be altruistic in his goals if very misguided, before trying to escape once realizing the true plans aren't altruistic in the slightest and that he is actually irredeemably evil.
