How can you be mad when you have a cute little Indian headband? Have you considered that, hmm? Have you even thought about the people who don't even have a cute little Indian headband and how their lives must be? Really puts things in perspective, huh?

I'm so fucking mad I don't have a cute little Indian headband it's unreal...

These motherfuckers crowing online about being welfare queens piss me off so bad, because they make normal people who work two jobs and still qualify for SNAP look like assholes. Do you know how little you have to make to qualify for SNAP? It's disturbing.

The pantry can't keep up, and I know it's meant to be supplemental, but there is no excuse for there to be hungry people in this country. None at all! There is no reason that children who can't control what happens and old people who worked until their bodies gave out should be vying for scraps of food and compassion in the richest country in the world. Fuck the Senators and Representatives who still get paid when the government is shut down.

Cut them off, first. Make them all use Medicaid for their insurance. They work for the country, shouldn't they have faith in its government run programs? You know what? I know one better. Make every single Senator and Representative go to the VA for healthcare! See how shitty it is, first hand. I am so tired. So incredibly tired. And I'm sorry. There are too many people who need too many things, and I can't fix it, and I don't even know if it can be fixed.

There certainly isn't. But with such a broken system and so much greed there isn't much one person can do about it but just try and be better than all the fat cats out there.

I don't think humanity has reached a level of evolution high enough to to do that. We're still too much like a bunch of monkeys fighting over who has the most bananas. The few people who want to enact real changes are vastly outnumbered by the ones who like the status quo too much because it makes them richer every year.
