Am I retarded for inserting images into posts this way?

1) click/tap the Insert Image icon
2) select desired file, upload
3) DELETE THE IMAGE THAT GETS INSERTED INTO MY POST
4) scroll down a bit, click/tap "Insert..." and select "Thumbnail" to insert a thumbnail version of my image
5) manually resize (shrink, usually) with the corners as necessary

I just don't wanna post xbox huge images that take up everyone's entire screen.

Wait no I reread it and it’s worse than I thought. Yes, you are. Click attach files (not the icon)->upload->insert->thumbnail->you are done

As they've told you, use "Attach files".

Then insert as "Thumbnail".
