Whevever I use Kiwifarms I tend to forget existence of ratings and get stuck in the past during time the forums that I went to didn't have ratings, scores and whatnot.

Only replying with aging menes, starting quote trains and jannies editing forum posts for personal amusement and shitposting for the sake of it.

I forget existence of ratings and get stuck in early 2000s mentality. I treat farms like forums of old. Providing content, laughing at cows and so on 22 years ago.

I forget that all of these features exist, ratings, embeds and all these features.
I tend to forget their existence and do everything manually like in early private forums.

All of those glorious moments are now Forever 404d, friends gone and shitposters turned into chronic alcoholic after two tours in Afghanistan.

Hell, I don't even use bookmarks. I keep all my interwebz links in a .txt file. Subscribe to channels? I just remember your name. And I got my handy dandy .txt file too.

I'm extremely oldschool with internet in a lot of ways. I find the clutter of modern websites unnecessary. A lot of them are either mobile friendly fugly or eyebleed. People complained about Geocities eyebleed horrors. But today we have just have a mutant brother from another. I don't need your sky blue background with videos I don't want to watch scrolling with me on autoplay, bland yet hideous layouts with five different font sizes, text that doesn't scroll but just changes to the next paragraph like some weird slide show ect... There's some awful stff out there. I'd honestly just like to read rich text with some relevant images thrown in.

It just sounds like you're autistic in your inability to adapt to the changing online environment. Even Tommy Tooter and Terry Davis are (were) able to navigate modern interfaces, and likely older than you.

I'd honestly just like to read rich text with some relevant images thrown in.
Firefox has a built-in feature that does this on both mobile and desktop (Tor has it as well) Simply tap the notebook icon next to the URL on the address bar and it will try it's best to make the entire web page just text and photos of the main web page content. Great for news articles and bypassing ads or other annoying things.
