That's the joke. She sympathizes with white nationalist movements, but groups like the KKK hated white Catholics for the longest time because they were considered a threat to Anglo-American Protestant heritage and values. It's like how @Ketchup' calls himself Aryan when he's of Polish descent.
Converts are always the loud embarrassing ones, but it sounds like she hasn't even converted. I'm guessing she hasn't been sitting in the chapel or the church basement doing RCIA every week.
America has pretty strong Protestant roots. It took ages to even have a Catholic president. In the past, Catholicism tended to be associated with dirty foreigners--Polish, Irish, Italian. I don't think we're going to have a Catholic monarchy any time soon.
Also, I'm not thinking she'd make a good Catholic queen. Catholic queens need to have the balls to burn the heretics and the style to get away with it. "Bloody Alyssa" doesn't really have a good ring to it.
So not only is her boyfriend a "divorced dad", but he also has kids around her age. Calling it now, he got divorced because he either tried to or successfully molested some poor girl.
I think once you're over a certain age you should probably still not be able to date an 18-year-old. She was more than likely groomed before she was a legal adult.

Another one that if they'd gone through all the sacrements (baptism, first confession, first eucharist, and confirmation at 18 -- with marriage or priesthood being the next one and last rites the last one) they probably would not be such a fanatic. There's nothing more soul-crushing than 18 years of Catechism.
Her boyfriend doesn't have her on his Facebook so obviously they don't want anyone to know. He's also back to being "single" after posting he was in a relationship back in May.
