This is cool, but I also have little faith in sequels that take 10 years before they get started.

I feel like something is inevitably lost in the time.

Alien: Isolation seems like the kind of project that you lock yourself out of making a sequel for; between Aliens and the first Isolation game there's very little territory in which to make a sequel game.

Make another interquel, Amanda being dead or alive makes little difference, and do it a little bit more in the style of Alien 3. You could do things like you get locked in a room with one and the whole point is to get a pressure door to blow or you get access to a Pulse Rifle with 1 grenade round loaded to kill the thing. Something like that to change it up,

Hopefully they listen to the good criticisms like the original being over long and having too many encounters with humans/androids in an Alien game. It seems to be really difficult for devs to focus almost entirely on the Alien and always have to bring in humans or androids as another threat.

I genuinely liked the first one despite not really being a fan of survival horror. I am not going to get my hopes up though considering todays current gaming environment.

It's one of the absolute best just because of the replayability of it. That you and you can be completely passive and not a kill single person or you can make a noise and set the beast loose on the NPC's.

Are you gonna have to dodge a voldemort-looking alien bodybuilder this time around?

Really makes you think how CA is only making sequels to their hits once the studios taken a bunch of Ls. if you notice this was their last big hit too.

didn't it end on a cliffhanger? beyond that you have a shitload of time and an entire universe to make this in.
