That perma ban is pretty good. Wonder how long it takes to make another account and then how long from that he gives away who he is.

If I hadn't already been wrong in thinking the previous Alt was too much of a caricature, I would be doubting this one, too. I suppose it's because Sidella is a caricature, his defining characteristics are intense and repetitious:

Random praise of Final Fantasy 9, Kingdom Hearts, and Spyro, bursts of declaring an on-screen character is similar to another character, accusing on-screen characters of being trolls, etc.

A nice little moment was when, after making excuses for the username "obamatemybaby", "donald123468" speaks up to defend Trump's strong moral constitution

(I'd assume the name of this new Alt comes from Donald Duck in his beloved Kingdom Hearts, and not Donald Trump :lol: ).

I'm sorry.. I try really hard to do my own reading & never shit up threads with "wha happnd?" like the jerkoff that wanders into your living room 45m into a movie.. but this guy.. I just can't deal. So please someone tell me if this is what's up:
  1. Original twitch acct was "sidella" someshit, whatever. He calls Tevin a monkey on this one & eventually disappears for whatever reason
  2. REE-emerges from the sewers with that super-original star wars moniker thing.. Skywalker's boss.. i don't know how to spell it. Sorry nerds. This account is banhammered 4 autism.
  3. Oh look, the sped *seems* to have crawled back out of the primordial slime, yet again, something dingobamababy. (Inconclusive or deemed a safe assumption that it's the same re.tard? Where did we land on that?)
  4. Obama disappears, now it's a handle indicative of a trump jockstrap-swinger. We don't know for sure but more than likely it's still this same mongo?
Am I close?

That's about right although he seems to have learned not to immediately say, "It's me, Sidella," within the first 10 chat-lines of his return on an alt.

Although I would like to hear @BSV 's opinion on whether he thinks Dave personally reported Sidella's 'ObamaAteMyBaby434' account after Sidella ate a perma from Twitch on his 'Ob1Kenobi434' account :\
 
@Prince Lotor I don't know. If he was giving him too much of a headache he probably would. I was banned for a DDOS attack. I shared this with phil. But despite that he went out and told everyone it was because twitch had changed their TOS. Even though it was before they changed their policy. When i came back with an alt. I could see phil reacted by doing something on his laptop. And suddenly I was banned again for evation. Some time later phil shared his desktop with a text file called DDOS evidence. All these things may just be a coincidence. But he never even offered to help, or questioned what had happened at all. Just flat out lied about it.

If he sees you as a threat in any way what so ever. I think he would report you without hesitation. The way twitch is set up, doesn't make him accountable for reporting people and getting them banned. And it's completely off the record who have done it. He even have priority with support since he is a "well known" streamer. I think it's entirely possible he got sidella banned. But like with me wouldn't be honest about it. Because he likes your money, he just doesn't like you.

If he would be honest and confront you. He may lose face and would by all probability lose your patreon pledge. Not only that, but phil is the most conflict shy person you can imagine. It's well known that he has a major issue with criticism. But it's not only that. When it was internal disagreements between moderators. Or regulars. He would never take sides. And almost never address the issue. It's like he is oblivious to the fact that this only makes things worse. Because this sort of behavior looks like he is deliberately being an asshole.

A part from being very greedy. I think Phil is just a nervous, unassertive, pussy that is afraid of dealing with his problems. He will always chose the path of least resistance. And if that means reporting you to twitch. I don't think he have any qualms about that.

His original account was "Sidella434" (simply his last name).

He was streaming and someone (IIRC the figure of his hatred, Tevin ) raided him. He perceives the raiders to be threatening enough that he changes his username to "ob1kenobi434" (his Twitter name. Also the website https://twitchtools.rootonline.de/username_changelogs_search.php tracks Twitch name changes anyway. So unless it was a new account with an original name, he wasn't exactly undercover).

"ob1kenobi434" becomes increasingly inflammatory and get's banned.

"obamaatemybaby434" gives the game away and says he is Sidella434, eating a second ban

(Note that this Twitter Crusader says "ob1kenobi434" was banned for "hate speech". We can't actually know what he was banned for. ob1kenobi434 also threatened to kill himself and someone else. Or it could even have been Phil himself.)

Of course, we can't know who banned him. Swagginz was the only Moderator apart of the conversation. But someone remarked "dsp loves reading this chat", implying that Phil was still in viewer's list despite the stream having ended and had seen what happened.

It would be odd for Phil to purge the Sidella-slamming thirdeyethethird (and remember he had done this once already with the Sidella-baiting "Bully Campaigners") only to turn on Sidella two weeks later. And Phil continues to Like his tweets, on top of that.

Not for nothing, but this was probably from when he thought his internet connection was being DDOS'd to keep him from streaming. Can't say with absolute certainty of course, but I think that's right.

Based on the timing of thirdeye's ban, it was right after Phil's stream ended (usually around 7 PM EST, and the ban was at like 7:15 PM). Phil typically does an immediate clipping of his stream, deletes the VOD, and then hits twitter for his usual "I finished the stream. I have another stream later." tweet. My personal opinion is that Phil did the banning himself--he'd been pissy with thirdeye on multiple occasions.

Shit, yeah, I forgot to add that side of it:

thirdeyethethird liked to send Phil thinly-veiled insults attached to his Bit cheers. This came to a head a while back with a rambling rebuke from Phil: thirdeyethethird was a "bully". He behaved this way because he "had something wrong inside of him".

To bolster the side against Phil being behind Sidella's banning, we can see that Phil, when presented evidence side-by-side of the two's trouble-making, he chose to dispense with the Bully-with-the-Bit-cheers thirdeyethethird over the Troll-Bait-that-needs-babysitting Sidella.

:lol: I appreciate that you don't like Sidella. I enjoy having him around. Without trying to persuade anyone to my personal opinion, I'll try to pull together what it is I like about him:

He's a colourful addition to the DSP TV cast: There's few standout characters that could make you say, "Oh, that's certainly X that did that".

He has the hallmark of a great Lolcow: The shining talents of any field reflect their glory on those around them. In the field of Lolcows, this hallmark of greatness can be seen in the attraction of other Lolcows from out of obscurity. Sidella's instances of this are small, mostly confined to Twitter. But I think even in miniscule amounts, this rare talent is something special.

He is the epitome of the DSP fan: He has a mental disability and has ready access to great amounts of money that he didn't work for.

Now, obviously, all those things are annoying. An aversion to such qualities culminated in one individual is perfectly understanding :lol:

Been around since April 2017 (https://overrustlelogs.xyz/stalk?channel=darksydephil&nick=thirdeyethethird), but he claims in his first chat comments that he heard about Phil from TIHYDP. And looking at old chat messages, he was needling Phil even then. So honestly hard to tell, given that he had a $100 bit badge.

actually posted his message as I was typing. I'll plop down what I wrote anyway :D

We need a canonical name for these types. I never know what to call them. I've seen "Deep-cover troll" used, but I think it's something more nuanced than that.

thirdeyethethird and KingOfHypocrisy weren't shy of tossing Phil his 25 cents. For the former in particular this amounted to at least $100. That didn't stop them from "regurgitating Detractor memes".

Confusingly, "Legit Phil fan" doesn't necessarily mean "not also a Detractor".
