I'm from Alberta and would vote for Alberta to join the USA although I don't believe it would ever happen

What the hell is going on with our Health Care system? Everyone seems to be blaming Danielle Smith for it but I don't really understand what she has done, or if she is actually trying but is being blocked by existing corruption?

It's just more convenient to blame the Premier than it is to blame a bunch of faceless leeches bureaucrats.

Do people here prefer Klondike Days or Stampede Week?

Anyways, a wishlist for what Trump should make as an offer to Alberta to convince it to join America:
A mostly seamless transition of pension benefits
Full tariff free trade with other states of Alberta produced goods, with support in establishing border controls with other provinces
Full independent rights in how to operate health care and education
No equalisation payments
French is not required for any government employment

I accidentally let slip to a friend that I will be signing and oh boy was he mad. Not that he can do anything about it as he'll be out of the country when the signing happens.

Hopefully, the sad reality of living so far north of the main centers. I can travel maybe a couple hours, but that's it.
Could you make it to High Level or Fort McMurray? I would imagine they would collect signatures from there eventually, especially if there's a request.

Ok why the fuck does AMA have it so that when you are on hold the automated system takes time to blame the "unprecedented wait times" on the government. I don't give a shit and the way they push it on loop it's basically propaganda.

Also the signing in Calgary seems to be going well, they apparently have over 100 booths to handle signing so it's not that bad of a wait. No idea if that will hold, and I bet a lull might make it into the news so that liberals can point and laugh at all the empty booths.
