i'm planning a trip to another continent and i can pay a lot of money for a direct flight, or i can pay less money with a few stops.
thing is the stops will be long and i'll be in countries i've never visited before, so i think it's a big plus.
get to be a tourist for 10~ hours till i catch the next flight in two countries on the way to my destination.

also chose Airbus because it's European.

well hope heres hoping it doesn't have an autoflight system with zero redundancy driving sales into the ground...
Well, it's a sad thing that pilots didn't learn how to switch the electrical trim off.

Based on my autistic fascination with airline accidents and accident recoveries i’d say its about a 3:1 ratio when looking at total loss scenarios between Boeing and Airbus. Most regional flights I take are Boeing 737s and its an unremarkable aircraft. Long distant flights i’ve taken on Airbus planes have been more comfortable.

General Dynamics
They don't build planes anymore. They sold all their tooling to Lockheed years ago

Also I like Boeing, because I've flown 4 of their products (counting McDougie's since they own them now) and the only shitty one was just a greatly improved rebuild of a much shittier British jet
