Wow @Satan! . Anyways, starting in Southern Califorinia, the Satanic Temple decided to set up an after school club which supposedly promotes "critical reasoning, independent thinking, fun, and free-thought". They plan to make it a nationwide club. Here's a video from them with edge written all around it.

Satanists are all cringy as fuck there is not a single one of them who is remotely close to normal and they should not be allowed in proximity of children

Because there's nothing like an eerie, badly done video made by edgelords that would make me trust them with my children.

We need to take this in the context of the _other_ groups in California. By comparison this probably isn't so bad.

I just want to be the first one in this thread to point out that their acronym is literally ASS.

I'm just imagining the Satanists from Silicon Valley.

Satanism's not even offensive, it's just the literal definition of "FUCK YOU MOM AND DAD, IT'S NOT A PHASE!!!!"

Nice! ditch the Re-Lie-gion and bow down to the fucking dark lord kids!

Satanists are pretty cringeworthy edgelords, but they do ultimately serve a purpose in pushing back against a lot of the Christian encroachment in schools (surely this isn't a problem in Commiefornia?). I remember a few years ago a member of the Louisiana legislature that voted in favor of a school voucher program to send kids to religious schools was appalled to learn that Muslims were making use of it.

The increasing lack of religious liberty being enforced by an entity that has no business doing so and is wasting taxpayer resources to do better and more useful things with as a result in this nation (the US) is something we should all be very worried about, so it's good to see someone stand up against it - even if many of these guys qualify as lolcows, unfortunately. I admit that I do have some respect for these fuckers - for doing the right thing, of course.

on the one hand they fight for religious liberty, on the other hand they are too afraid to call themselfes atheists...

Yeah, this. The word "Satanism" evokes images of ritual sacrifice and CSA, but the "actual" church of satan is non-theistic and basically a group of atheists who go around triggering old people. Generally, anything they do doesn't really deserve to make the news.
