Yes, we know, defending easily-defended targets is easy. That's why it's important to focus in defending difficult ones, especially when they're right.
Principles are easy to stand up for when everybody agrees with you. But freedom of speech still includes unlimited, unfettered use of the word "nigger" without being FUCKING KILLED FOR IT. That's the current principle in need of defense, and a lot of fucking turds currently seem to think it's not just "okay" but "actually mission-critical" to kill certain people who say it.
For non-Americans here: the category of “Hispanic” is less than meaningless demographically. It could mean a Spanish-speaking black Caribbean dude, a full blooded Mayan, or a Mexican/Argentine/whatever who’s 3/4 German and 1/4 Italian.
