Blacks do Swim how do I know? When I was a kid there were two public pools within a mile of my house one was where blacks went and one was where white went this wasn't segregation. The Black and White Neighborhoods weren't far apart basically it was at the point of where the white neighborhoods end and the black neighborhoods start.

Literally a 5-minute walk from each other and one looked like a normal neighborhood, and one looked like the hood you guess which was which.

I was talking to a friend on how you would fix the black community (TND not being an answer). My one answer is shame. Large amounts of societal shame and consciousness for others. If we make Japan look like a rude country niggers wouldn't be half as nigger as they are now.

They pull this out on Reddit like it's some kind of "gotcha." Saying how dumb racists are because "don't they realize we all came from Africa". What the fuck does that have to do with anything? Thousands of years of migration, response to environment, evolution - these things have changed us significantly. The fact we're all from Africa looks bad for YOU- the rest of us developed some ambition and fucked off while you guys just chucked spears and dodged lions.

They will tell you Africans have no history and no culture worth keeping and yet the coloniser's museums are filled with your art, your antiques and your history.

Putting aside the "coloniser" framing, I don't see why both can't be true. In fact, I'd say they clearly are.

I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art several times for an art history course, and they had an African art wing. Both the museum and my professor tried to frame the African art there as not being bad, but different, like it was just a different take on beauty that didn't match western norms, and not that it was bad. Imo it's pretty clearly included because "all cultures are valid and equal!" and omitting it from an art museum on the basis of merit would mean confronting some difficult truths.

Obviously there are some stinkers globally when you start looking that long ago- every culture experienced some sort of learning curve with art principles, etc. But the thing is, African art never really developed in any meaningful way outside of Egypt (and even then, a fair amount of that was outside influence.)
Africans view most things as being disposable, including their own art. There's not a lot of art, antiques, or history because they don't preserve or protect things, they just consume and do the bare minimum to survive. Maybe if they did preserve their own art, there'd be a cultural body of work that grows overtime and allows future artists to build upon to develop something great, but their values are fundamentally disconnected from the idea of preserving things, let alone for future generations.

Your "culture" has no value and is only preseved by us because your people have historically been too retarded and short-sighted to do it yourselves. If this damn white savior complex never existed, your "antiques" would've been used for kindling by your great-to-whatever-power grandpa the moment he decided he wanted to cook up whatever the sub-Saharan equivalent of Popeye's chicken is.
