What she didn’t realize is that the “Bike Angels” are people that those bike rental companies reward for rebalancing bikes, eg riding them from off peak areas to get to peak areas. What the fucking ASSHOLE nigger son was doing was pretending to be a “Bike Angel” and then camping on the bike when it got to the peak area (preventing other people from renting it by menacing them and acting like a territorial chimp), waiting for the algorithm to adjust because the bike wasn’t being rented, and then using his rewards points to take the bike again.

Basically, HE WAS STEALING.

Stealing and preventing working people from being able to get a bike to ride home at peak times.

East Cost niggas New Yorkers specifically from what I can tell is where the Kung Fu influence came from. In the 80s there was a fairly popular type of movie theater called a Grindhouse that specialized at airing things like Kung Fu , B list horror ect aka anything cheap to show. One of the most popular was The Deuce on 42nd street in New York. Also Channel 5 in New York had a habit of playing Kung Fu movies around that time as well on Saturday mornings. RZA from the Wu Tang Clan talks about it in his book The Tao of Wu.
