He fearfully attempted to do exactly what his executioners told him to do, even if that meant turning himself into a pretzel and somehow still crawling towards them. Cops, all cops, are basically pit bulls. They'll act nice sometime, even make you believe that they are cool. And then, out of nowhere they'll bite you shoot you dead. Even if you comply, they will shoot you dead.

I'm a little biased because I have two shit bull mixes (I know "mix" is considered a cope) that had to be given away because their former hooman has a minor child and they had to move because there was a chomo RSO in the same building. I also get along well with cops. Knock on wood, huh?

Lol at the officer calling his buddies "idiots" at 4:34 for not having cover. Call down my guy. Sometimes you have to push and that means abandoning cover.

Lol at the officer applying not one but TWO unnecessary tourniquets. I was told that you only apply one if bleeding cannot be controlled by another means. That guy was not gushing blood. He was gonna be fine.

That and only when you're damn certain the affected (gushing) limb is not salvageable -- the idea being you use a tourniquet to prevent blood loss through a nasty wound, deliberately cutting off blood supply to the soon-to-be-lost limb in order to save the life of the patient.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if EMTs just automatically jump straight to cop-installed tourniquets first to evaluate whether they really belong there or not when they're figuring out how to stabilize the patient.
 
Tourniquet doctrine has changed in the past 20 years. Thanks to GWOT they now know that you can survive up to 12 hours with a tourniquet on and retain the limb with minimal loss use. The current teaching is throw a tourniquet on it as it will stop the bleed and they will be in an OR within the hour so no loss of sensation.
