Here's the thing about those rulings: if they hadn't been made then the police / government would be on the hook, in court, for every crime they don't stop, which is the majority of them. It sounds a lot more dismal than it really is.
Is that definitely true or just your reasonable assumption? I have nothing backing this and am too lazy to research RN, but I feel like existing law would've already given police this caveat, right? I just assumed they were never responsible to prevent or stop crime, only expected to respond to it and document it or something. But IDK
Just more confirmation that we're always on our own out there. Police make way too much for how incompetent they seem to be. But as with so many other things I've felt strongly on, I have to reconsider everything that's been curated by left influence. Realizing leftard media deliberately spins anti-police, anti-American, anti-reality narratives has understandably loosened my ACAB view (slightly).
Haven't you ever wondered why cats like to sit in cardboard boxes? It's such a weird and seemingly arbitrary thing. There are no cardboard boxes in a cat's ancestral environment, so theoretically there's no reason for this behavior to have evolved ...but it clearly did, as it is clearly innate and therefore a product of genes.
Sure, I've seen cats without scratching posts or big cat houses lounging in shitty boxes. I've never wondered why they do that because I already know:
SoCiOeCoNoMiC CoNdItIoNs.
An example I've used before is how our dogs will pace around in circles before plopping down in the same spot they just hit 20 revolutions on. IIRC, it's an evolutionary trait from pre-domestication days. By stamping around in the grass or wherever, they'll flatten down the "bedding" and also scare off any harmful critters.
My dog had like 5 of her own beds, couch access, and always slept on my bed with me and never outside. She has no clue why she'd do that, of course, but I'll be damned if she didn't complete her mission each night. No critters got her, either, so it ain't stupid if it works.
The one thing you know about this person before you confront them is that they don't give a fuck about the law. For you to imagine that they're going to give a fuck about whatever you say to them, or that they're gonna reflect on their action and feel shame - that's pretty naive.
Yeah, that's how I feel about losers who blast music in public spaces without headphones. There's a 0% chance you'll ever receive a response like, "Oh shit. This is annoying as fuck to everybody? My bad. I didn't know!" So you just have to deal with an asshole because getting into a fist-fight with some dipshit isn't usually worth it.
Black people like this often seem literally incapable of recognizing that they're the one inconveniencing someone; distinct from those who know it and just don't GAF. Smh. I can't imagine parking in a handicap spot to begin with, let alone arguing with someone who actually needs it. To be fair, she is almost certainly mentally handicapped with her 70 IQ.
Way too censorious. For example, regardless what you think of porn it's not going away. In North Korea black market porn is sold on burned optical media and this happens despite all of the censorship measures in place in said country. Matt Walsh obviously desires a level of censorship far greater than what exists in North Korea and I don't think it would be directed at porn alone. Also he seems to think that religious belief (namely his own) should be compelled in society. There are other things I could object to but those two stand out.
Fair enough. Solid issues with him that I agree are problematic. The porn issue is honestly more complex to me than I previously would've thought. Not on censoring it, which I'm against, but better preventing kids from accessing it. Finding some Playboy mags in the woods back in the day is nothing compared to now. 8-year-olds have iPads and get groomed on Roblox. Children can literally type in whateverkinkyouwant + tube.com and have an infinite scroll of 1080P hardcore shit.
But it's not an easy fix and the powers that be will only use it to institute further control and censorship. It's already happening with IDing and shit, which is nuts. It seems like the optimal solution is for parents to better understand technology and monitor their kids better, though. They won't, though, and "somebody think of the children!" will catalyze some 90-year-old politician to require retinal scans for public Wifi and shit.
An Army sergeant is in custody after he allegedly
used his personal handgun to shoot five fellow soldiers this morning at the
Fort Stewart military base in Georgia, according to base officials.
• Brig. Gen. John Lubas, the commanding general of the 3rd Infantry Division, identified the
suspected shooter as Quornelius Radford. “We’re still not certain about the motivation,” he said at a news conference.
• The five wounded soldiers
are in stable condition and are expected to recover, Lubas said.
• Fort Stewart trains and deploys active and reserve Army units. It is about 40 miles southwest of Savannah.
Suspected shooter Quornelius Samentrio Radford is seen in a booking photo from May 18, when he was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Liberty County Jail in Georgia.
- "We’re still not certain about the motivation" - lol, it's pretty obvious they called him something they shouldn't have called him!
- 5 wounded, but will survive. Didn't someone recently post that observation about more wounded than killed is always blacks?
- "Quornelius Samentrio Radford" lol, sounds like those Key & Peele parodies of NFL players names. "Quandeffrus Zephyr Buford III. Ohio State!"
