One of the first things I learned when I learned how to fight was to not slap someone / hit someone in a way that doesn't take them out. That just angers someone and invites attacks.

I like how they're loudly declaring they have nothing to do with the dine-n-joggers who left without paying, but we're constantly bombarded in the media with messages that muh systemic racism is all white people's fault.

If you want an example of communities actually reinforcing terrible behavior through their inaction, look no further than the predominantly black neighborhoods with high crime rates. Everyone has "nothing to do with" the crimes, they all "didn't see nothin'" when the police come in and ask questions, and when some lifelong career criminal gets shot by the cops cause he assaulted them after getting caught for the tenth time or twentieth time, a bunch of them riot in the streets cause "he wuz a good boy who dindu nuffin."

It must be infuriating to deal with. I can understand why this guy is fucking done, but unfortunately his business is also probably done after this. It's a lose-lose situation.
