If that fat fuck Gabe pulls anything from the store instead of telling these grifters to fuck off and die, I'm going to be more disappointed in him than his personal trainer.

I'm sure this will not cause more people to question why the ADL is supposed to be taken seriously.

Well, he did personally intervene on behalf of Hatred, and scuttled the first paid mod push when it was brought to his attention. The ADL is much bigger and more dangerous than most other political outfits though.
 
I would urge everyone to just ignore the ADL's bullshit. For those unaware the ADL is an utterly worthless morally bankrupt organization. They don't help anyone, well if they do they fail to make me aware of it. If a Jewish family gets a swastika painted on their door the ADL doesn't go out and pay to paint the door, they just add it to their statistic of ongoing "hatred." They then make a worthless statistic report that says "THIS YEAR HATE CRIMES AGAINST JEWS ARE DOWN 3%, BUT ANTISEMITIC COMMENTS ONLINE ARE UP 15%! WE NEED TO FIGHT THIS BY DONATING MORE MONEY TO THE ADL."

I say ignore them because you will not win any PR Wars with the ADL. They have a direct line to every newsgroup and companies like Google or Facebook will take their side every time versus someone who is arguing against them. What they seriously want and desire is for gamers to shitpost racist memes in protest and they would LOVE an exceptional individual to send them threats because guess what that gets to be added to the ADL's statistics.

Ignore racehustlers, ignore the Al Sharptons, ignore the ADL, ignore all these phonies who just want to create animosity among people. Who gives a fuck that someone is racist on Steam? Steam has the ability to block people for a reason.

Gabe is inccreasingly uninvolved in Valve. He basically serves as this weird tech monk on top of a mountain who spouts half nonsense and half prophecy.
 
The ADL has done more to spread anti semitism in the US than the alt right ever could. Their was this one video I saw a while back pointing out that the lgbt community is its own worst enemy when it comes to public perception. The same could be applied to Trump's Chosen.
 
In a non-exhaustive, largely random recent search, we were able to identify nearly 200 unique Steam accounts that embraced and propagated Nazi and/or white supremacist ideology.

The final category includes a subset of users who posted memes involving variations of Pepe the Frog, a cartoon character appropriated by the white supremacist movement, in a context that was specifically racist, antisemitic or otherwise bigoted.

but the real number is bigger than 200, it's a network 16,967 large!! (since they arbitrarily include everyone those 200 people have as friends.)

wow what a shocking army of literal nazis. this platform with a BILLION accounts and 90 million active users is surely being overrun.
 
I usually don't care about this kind of thing but I really sometimes wonder why it's suddenly a problem that random people have opinions. Like wow, some guys on steam have a pepe the frog profile picture and post about white nationalism or whatever, who cares? Just don't look at their steam account if you don't like it. "XtremeKLUKLUXgamer69" is not hurting anybody by playing team fortress 2 with a hitler avatar. there are so many problems and injustices in the world that you could be paying attention to, even a lot of legitimate social/civil rights ones, and this is the one they picked. It's really sad.
 
They just want a way in to have control over what people play and say on Steam. Failing that, they want a bribe to shut up. It's just so fucking tiresome...

If the offended parties could ignore opinions they find objectionable every game or chat system would just have a mute button and that would be the end of it. No need for censorship or restrictive "hate speech" policies. The ADL knows that the real subject is Power and who gets to wield it.
