Any actually okay email services I should know about? Something that isn't Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, etc. shit.
I know email isn't very private by design but I don't want to use something that isn't owned by giant corporations or some shit.

What do you want the email to be used for? If you want burners, there are some sites that do that fine, but you will lose the address afterwards. They are great for socks or signing up in websites you don't really care that much about, for example (like if you want to test the website).

I mostly use Gmail because it gives the least of problems, seems to be secure, works well if you want a YT account and to link it to your mobile, etc. I don't really use it to message people so it's irrelevant, it's mostly for signing up to places that I don't mind having linked to it; if I wanted to message others, I would use something else rather than email.
