He is also incredibly cynical and pessimistic, the latter trait is usually held by conservatives so it's a strange mix. He's just a real oddball but I still love him

So, on other subjects... I saw this video a while back and it felt to me like the guy was trying for a Ross's Game Dungeon style of presentation, even if he wasn't really as good or interesting as Ross was.

Anyone else knows of YouTubers who tried Ross's style, whether they succeeded or failed?

The only other Youtuber I can think of with a similar style is Mandalore.

Edit: Watched it. Pretty good slavjank episode. Wouldn't be surprised if Warlockracy eventually review it and it turns up to have absolutely schitzo background.

Personally, I’m waiting for his “Baldies” follow-up and how he beat that borderline-impossible Egypt level. It’s been too many years since Ross told us he’d show us in an upcoming follow-up episode.
 
It's going to take him longer a year to follow up on everything since the last follow up. I expect at least three acknowledgements that some games were harder than intended because he was playing them in a way other than intended. The one with the clone rooms is the first one that I can remember where the comments pointed this out but there are others.

Yeah and it didn't help that the game did a poor job of explaining a central mechanic, see pictures. Waiting for Freeman's Mind episodes is suffering. I don't want a drop in quality, obviously, but it doesn't take that long to record some footage and voice over it either. Remember, this was supposed to be the FILLER machinima to keep us entertained while he worked on more time intensive projects, and in the end it takes way longer for us to get a 15 minute episode of Freeman's Mind than it takes for us to get an hour long episode of Game Dungeon.
