It's possible but to me it seems Ross' main issue is perfectionism. Especially as he continually goes through the cycle of "I'm going to get an editor. I spend a lot of time finding an editor. I don't like the editor after nearly completing a video. I'll scrap it all and strat again" (replace editor with sound/animation/etc.)

From the vague tidbits of him talking about her, I'm pretty sure she is basically an Internet stalker that ended up marrying her crush. And Ross seems like he never had much luck with women considering whenever he's asked about past relationships he always dodges the question so maybe it was just desperation on his behalf even if he does seem like a dude capable of pulling much hotter (and less insane) normie chicks. It just doesn't make sense otherwise why he would put up with Magda, she is literally so neurotic that he admitted having to make "sanitized" versions of his videos so she could watch them without having a nervous breakdown IIRC.

Has he ever talked about why he moved to Poland? It seems to me she's basically his ticket in, and a way he can have a roof over his head there. As for why he would want to move out of US, I don't think he ever talked about it. I can't see why he would marry her willingly for any other reason. Even if he does not have luck in his love life, I like to think he has enough sense not to put his dick in crazy unless there is another reason for it.
I don't really think Ross' opinions are that out there, he definitely is a bit more grounded, and can explain his reasoning better than the likes of Warlockracy, who shits all over his videos with irrelevant, luke warm takes that some people take seriously for whatever reason(Usually some flavor of "russia bad" or "putin is a nazi". Real thought provoking stuff. Both of them covered the original Deus Ex, compare the two and see who seems to know what they're talking about more). Considering Ross is willing to type walls of text and go on debates shows me that this isn't a fad with him and he's trusting his ideas enough to defend them. Still wish he would just make more videos, it can't be overstated how long Freeman's Mind is taking to finish(and it's not like he can't work quickly either, he finished the last few Xen episodes of the first season timely so he could finish the whole thing by the end of the year, and those were some of his best episodes yet).
One thing I will say is that he is definitely naive, in the Mage Knight Apocalypse video he got visibly upset over the happy merchant stereotype being shown. While he is more worldly about many issues than your average redditor or twitter user, he will still not accept racial reality or see anything wrong with fags or trannies(not that we would ever say anything like that in front of Magda even if he did think so). He's one of those normalfags who will sit there with a question mark over his head, questioning why the country is falling apart, and proclaim that it can't be the unwashed non-white masses or dual citizen jewish politicians or trannies grooming kids that are a problem in any capacity, humanity is the problem here and we ALL need to do better. Or something, he will likely talk about fuel scarcity or global warming again. Worse yet, his twitter feed is infected with open antifa and troons, so along with Magda he's definitely under some bad influence. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to be easily manipulated into changing his beliefs, he is far too autistic and perfectionist for that, but he might take some "experts" that aren't experts at all at their word because his followers link him an article or a study. Surely, his own fans wouldn't lie to him, right?
If nothing else, can we agree that "The Movie" is slowly becoming The Spoony Movie 2.0? At least he hasn't scammed his followers out of money for that one(I hope)

Freeman’s Mind, yeah, he really needs to take a couple of months to just crank out 5-6 episodes to compensate because it’s kinda annoying how it seems like we’re getting 1 episode a year now.

This reminds me of when he put out a call for volume balancing volunteers. I cant seem to get the stupid file to download anymore (its this https://share.starchive.io/NzdlNTBj...wYzk0LTM2N2ItNDVmNy04OTg5LWY4YjAyNDJhZTIxMw==) but basically I could not tell the difference between the 'before' and 'after' at all, and he noted that he would generally spend hours doing balancing.
I opened it in audacity to see if I could spot any difference at all, and it looked like he was amplifying or de-amplifying each individual word to eliminate all the individual variation in loudness. In retrospect that seems kindof insane and OCD to me.

I agree on the political leaning. He's the good old kind of conspiracy theorists. Though he probably went to Poland for the much lower living expanses that suits youtubing better. Or he was cursed by a gypsy lady to be chased by mold and thought it won't chase him across the sea.

edit: Finished watching. If you can't be bothered, Ross set up a website about the whole thing. Apparently the US is basically a lost cause and the strongest opportunities lie in Australia, Germany and France. Doesn't seem like there's gonna be a direct action option for non-owner non-EU people outside of giving the project more attention on social media.

As optimistic as I'd like to be, I don't think it'll go anywhere: most people who play video games nowadays have either given up on the concept of proper ownership, achieve it by piracy, or are too young to even comprehend the concept of owning digital media so they're content as-is.

Somehow, I'm not surprised that one of the languages that the website was translated into is Esperanto. If it were anyone else doing this, I'd be puzzled, but because it's Ross I'm just like, "yeah, that sounds like something he'd do."
I hope this campaign succeeds so that we stop losing access to games for no good reason. I can't really do anything at this stage since I live in the US and don't own The Crew, but I wish him and everyone else helping the best of luck.
Exactly this, and it's a point that Ross has tried to hammer home repeatedly every time the "just pirate it" crowd comes up. We would if we could, but so long as the games are forced to phone home to a central server that no longer exists, it's impossible. It likely wouldn't take much work to either patch the game files or release server software for private use, companies just don't do it because they don't have to, something that Ross is hoping to change if enough of a legal stink is raised.
