Neither of them are reliable narrators, but in this case I’m slightly more inclined to believe she’s lying. Pretty much everything that comes out of Abby’s mouth is embellished or exaggerated to a degree. Maybe all Hogg did was respond to her texts and she constitutes that as cheating. The only reason why I’m giving him a sliver of belief over her is the very skewed balance of emotions between them. There’s no mutual love or respect at all, Abby’s just irrevocably obsessed with the idea of him to a detrimental degree, it doesn’t matter how horribly he treats her or how nicely other boys treat her, every action in her life is powered by the goal of getting his attention. Hogg knows he’s repulsive and unlikable, and her unwavering fixation makes it easy for him to keep her around as an easy parking spot for his dick. If he genuinely wanted to get away from her, he would. Just like if her parents actually took her treatment seriously, they would make it a point to separate her from him.

“Clear headed individual” is not a statement I would associate with anyone that willingly dates Abby. The dude is aware that she’s a serial cheater with the same ex that she’s incapable of moving on from, as well as being a moronic attention seeking social media drama queen, and yet he still wants to date her. What’s more, he’s given her a timeline of when she can tag him on Facebook, probably trying to play on her addiction to online validation, as long as she doesn’t cheat on him *with Will*, as if that’s going to keep her loyal. As soon as he does something she doesn’t like she’s going to decide he isn’t worth waiting for and either try going back to Will or lie about it just to end the relationship. It’s a pretty common cycle for her at this point.

Mitch had been friends with Abby for a long time before they started dating so theyre probably all dead beat townies in the same friend group.

The "i changed my status and you didnt notice even though i dont want any anybody to know about me" makes me think hes just as much of a nutter. Abby goes through boys like phases so theres zero percent chance they last through fall.
 
Will is full of shit. Abby needs to stay away from him. He’s poison

Is this the guy who did her new awful face tattoos?

I’ve wondered how she got her latest forehead tattoo since most legit tattoo artists won’t do face tattoos under most circumstances, but esp not an obviously unhinged girl in a manic episode that wants “lil peep” in such a conspicuous place. But, the “Kat” chicken scratched on her cheek might just make any artist shrug his shoulders and think shes already fucked so why not take her $80 a do what she wants.
