Will is more of a lolcow than Abby, imo. He just doesn't post it online enough. Abby is a fucking mess, but most of her stuff comes from severe mental illness and a life where she faces no repercussions for her actions. Will is a fat smack addict who jerks off to Jesus while dressing like it's 2004, and chooses willingly to maintain an abusive, unhealthy relationship with a mentally unstable woman. He does shit just to 'trigger' her... him indulging the attention the FB Fatties show him, despite having to know they're only doing it to hurt his girlfriend is a prime example of that. Blaming Abby for his drug use is absurd.

Blaming her is wrong, but I wouldn’t rule her out as a root cause. Not defending Hogg whatsoever, but investing time in a partner that’s as mentally ill as Abby could drive anyone down a spiral. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if her father has to knock back a few whiskeys each night and her mother has a Xanax script big enough to take down an elephant. Severely mentally ill people, whether they’re your partners or your relatives, are fucking draining to deal with on a daily basis. Maybe in the beginning Abby really was the scenie-weenie emo girl of Will’s wet dreams, but her legitimate mental health issues were beyond the surface level “uwu so sad n emo I cut my forearms with safety pins to write love on her arms <3333” brand of emo sadness that’s so common so he turned to smack to cope with it. He was clearly attached to her in the beginning, but now he seems to only care about upsetting and controlling her at his whim and amusement, it’s a super fucked power dynamic.

The fact that Abby’s own medical team has been advising her not to see him yet her parents put no boundaries on that whatsoever really speaks volumes about their lackluster parenting. I really hope whatever qualifying professional that’s familiar with Abby’s case has had the balls to tell them what an absolute failure they’ve been to their daughter.

How much self-destruction does Abby have to do before her parents intervene? Normally I’d be all “she’s an adult she can do whatever she wants” but she’s proven millions of times over that she’s insanely mentally ill and has the mental capacity of a 14 year old when she’s actuallygoing on 27.

As I said before, Abby could be taking every antipsychotic in the world, but they won’t do shit as long as her spineless parents continue to enable her.
 
Oh Abby. Seriously.The face tattoos are ridiculous and absurd. Her tattoos in general are but they could be covered, but the face ones are a ridiculous, stupid move. I'm not au fait with tattooig as a whole but knew a tattooist who would never tattoo hands, face or neck, and would never do names unless it was child names.

Honestly it would be better if she self mutilated somewhere discrete than do this nonsense.

Her parents have proven time and time again that they lack the willpower and spine to properly parent their self destructing adult autistic child. I used to sympathize and believe Abby was holding them hostage with her tard rage, but they’re so blissfully complicit with funding her phases, being her designated photographers for extremely cringey photos, putting no restrictions on Will, arguably the most toxic and destructive element in Abby’s life, sans barring him from their house. They clearly don’t buy into the treatment plans at all, and I’m certain her mental health team is exhausted from trying to make them see how bad their enabling of her is. I genuinely think they are just lazy boomers that don’t believe in things like emotional labor or mental growth, just throw some pills and money at the problem and it’ll fix itself.

Abby needs to get away from them just as badly as she needs to get away from Will. Her resurfacing directly after her 7 month commitment showed genuine growth and she really seemed happy and healthy, then just a few weeks back at home, she’s spiraling again, the phases are back, etc. And now she has another face tattoo. They’re more her chaperones that are doing a half assed job than parents at this point.

Serious question, and I'm not asking to play devil's advocate: what else are her parents supposed to do, really?

I agree with the notion that Abby needs to get away from her parents (and Will), but does she really have the means to move out? Should her parents completely cut her off and refuse to pay for anything? Should they kick her out? I think Abby's doomed either way: on her own she'll continue to make these retarded and blatantly self-destructive decisions... while homeless.

Just thinking aloud. Her parents are 100% complicit and I don't mean to suggest otherwise, but how can they cut ties without leaving their already severely mentally ill daughter on the streets?

She needs to go inpatient again and her parents probably need to go to an inpatient program of their own, Intervention-style.

Whenever the parents are severe enablers or are actively contributing to the behavior of the interventionee, they are sent to their own treatment program as part of the plan.

Something I have noticed about her, she appears to not actually be smoking, She is not inhaling most of the time, just dragging and then puffing it out of her mouth. When you pull a ciggie into your lungs, very little smoke comes out and sometimes it has a blue tinge to it. She is dumping vape levels of smoke, which to me at least, is a sign of not having a proper drag.

Which begs the question, is she just doing this to "look cool" and risk mouth cancer? (just because you do not inhale, doesn't protect you from the various types of cancer smoking can cause).

Also, that tattoo reminds me of this person in this music video, the blonde bird with that hairline tattoo.

I don't think I have seen a tattoo I dislike more. The sentiment is basically "men will leave you when you get old" which is such a shitty, regressive thing to believe, let alone tattoo on your face.

While Will is arguably one of the most toxic and destructive people in her life, her adoptive parents come in at number one and number two for most toxic and self destructive.
And as you were able to see, the SECOND Abby comes back home, her bad behavior kicks in. No, the parents do not need intervention. The parents need to LOSE CUSTODY and LOSE CONTACT. Even with therapy this will NOT get better. These three are just too toxic in each others' presence and the best cure for this is permanent separation and loss of all contact.

The tard scribbles...what honestly is the difference between this and just getting a knife and cutting a la ColdnessInMyHeart? Not much. Both label you as certifiable and both can prevent you from moving on and interacting with sane people.

Best thing for Abby is a clean break from all three of these people. Live in a different state (not the neighboring state), and cease and desist ALL contact. Only then can there be any hope of her getting better.

You realize people like her do not live long. They never see old age. It's only a matter of time unless she gets better people in her life.

Exactly. Abby needs to be away. No visits. If you watched her stream today you can hear her mom chuckling uncomfortably in the background while Abby talks about her new tattoo.

Viewer: “What did your parents say about the tattoo?”

Abby: “Not too much really.”

*Abby’s mom laughs uncomfortably*

Abby’s mom (in the background): *Uncomfortable laugh* “Not happy!”

Is there something going on behind the scenes we don’t know? Because I’m pretty sure that’s not a normal reaction for a parent to have, especially one of a special needs child.
