Anyone else think the reason they’ve stayed off facebook so long is because its a part of their “old” identity(ies)? Most if not all pictures/phases on the account are pre transition decision, so that was my assumption about it at least. And who knows, maybe transitioning will be the ultimate change, and Alex Brown will be the final form.

No. I’d be surprised if anyone actually believes Abby is trans. She’s a walking farce.
 
I find it really hard to believe Abby’s gone this long without being on social media. My guess was that she’s using a different alias and catfishing people like was mentioned upthread, but with that so much of her content was posting selfies that I’m not sure how likely that is.
 
I just read through all 50 pages in one sitting and I was hooked.

Getting to the end and realizing all her social media antics have ceased, really puts a damper in this masterpiece.

Social media use is as disposable for her as any other thing she used to be into. She changes her whole personality regularly, a current incarnation could be a cult member or a survivalist or any crazy thing that makes internet use impractical. There's always the possibility of serious shit happening in her personal life like a family crisis or a health problem.

Thinking about it, didn’t she go quiet on social media for a while in between one of the emo phases and the DD/lg phase?

I’m kind of surprised she’s back with Hogboy too. Their last breakup seemed like THE BIG ONE. And if she’s serious about being trans, Hog Willy seems the type to shit on gays sooooooo.

Does anyone follow her on Snapchat? I’m too old to know how that shit works, but it seems like it would be the place to get updated.

See it no longer matters Hogg is lying, unemployed junkie POS because he’s got Jesus now so that fixes everything. Really going to need to an IG proof of Hogg on a Sunday morning with a haircut, in collared shirt, sports jacket and loafers to believe he’s doing anything more than FB posts for his parole officer.

Maybe, but imo her use of social media has actually been the one constant in all this. Personas are disposable, but the means of seeing her new selves reflected back at her seems integral to Abby's whole....thing. But who tf even knows.
More fun speculation: one of those quasi-legal teen bootcamps maybe? Oh yeah except she's like, mid-20's now.

I thought of more possibilities...


If she has borderline (and really she seems like a poster child for that disorder) she could have hurt herself or overdosed and ended up in a psych ward. Danger to self is one of the only things that can cause involuntarily admittance.

Another possibility is running away with a controlling partner.

Abby has always put her adoptive mother in a pedestal. Borderlines suddenly & irrationally hate people they once loved. If she started hating her mom she might be cut off from their finances.

Those are the bpd scenarios I could think up

Nah. She's *way* too old for those bootcamps and her doting parents would *never* put their speshul l'il snowflake in one of those places.

I hope either Alex or Abbey comes back for Halloween. That's when s/he shines.
 
I really have a hard time believing she’s stayed this long off of social media all on her own. There had to have been some sort of intervention on her parents part, maybe she finally hit Kathy one too many times and they actually called the cops on her. I don’t think they would ever press charges, but I can see them finally buckling down and showing her that they’re not fucking putting up with her shit anymore. Either smarten up and take responsibility for your mental health and do away with social media, or gtfo. She’s got to be 25 now, they can legally force her out of their house if they want to.

yeah man he's been into Jesus for quite some time which is why he really didn't like Abby's satan phase or gay phase. there was way more info/drama about it in the facebook group and the thread here wasn't kept up as rigorously until later. wish i had screenshots for you, sorry. best thing i have is this cameo here in Gary's music video about Jesus:
