I know I’m overthinking this, but why is Abbie coming out as trans a less valid experience than the rest of the trans-trenders bitching on that group? She cycles through phases, has no grasp on her identity, she very obviously isn’t safe or comfortable in her own skin, she’s actually a perfect candidate for being a possibly genuine trans case.

I wonder what the fb group would do if Abby did come out as trans, undergo HRT and name changing and plans of top surgery, and the catharsis of embracing herself and her identity causes a huge 180 in her personality and mental health and suddenly she’s a stable, progressive, functionally mature adult that goes on to be a legitimate advocate for mental AND trans health.

Man I'm commenting a lot today but another hilarious thing about the facebook transtrenders is that the ones expressing rage because they're "non binary" or "might not be cis/questioning" all look 100% feminine. Full makeup, hair done, no binding, etc.

One of the screenshots on here was of a girl saying she was mad because she actually recently just "came out" as non binary to her parents and it just makes me laugh thinking about what the fuck that would even sound like.

Is that like a way to "come out" as something without actually coming out as anything so that you can contribute to your warped community with receipts of your own "struggles"?
