I tend to prefer Mug but I don't drink soda anymore. Really any brand root beer is fine. It's all basically the same shit.

No point saying the brand name because there is none. It just says "root beer". Doesn't even say who bottled it or where it came from. I'm pretty sure not even the staff know how it got there

There's at least three different types of A&W root beer made by three completely different companies who all use the same name and branding, and they distribute to the same towns and cities. You'll have to be more specific as to where you're getting it from.

A&W on tap is decent.
Bottled and canned I prefer Barq's
Keurig Dr Pepper sucks for discontinuing Hires.

A&W is made by both Coke, Pepsi, and the restaurant brand all make there own A&W Root Beer with the same branding. The recipes they use are all slightly different.
