9/11's real death count?

Considering the fact that part of Manhattan would have had at least a ballpark estimate of 25,000 people on that that exact day and that they still find plane wreckage and bone fragments to this day near Ground Zero is it safe to say that probably more than 2,000 people died in New York City on 9/11?

In 2001. A person dies once every couple seconds. So the real death toll on that day is around 50,000 people + The near 3000 people who died in the building.
