A very shameful part of Alt-Right attitude towards religion is that idea that religion should be their ethnostate.

If a religion is true and makes any claims to the exclusive truth of its teachings, keeping it to one group of people is horribly immoral.

These wretches don't realize that you can, and most European countries did, practice Christianity while not being a pushover to other groups. But they're not really interested in the actual faith so much as they're interested in wearing it as a costume.

...I'm not convinced this is true. The Far Right anime faggots don't strike me as having a MORAL issue with 3DPD, just a personal disinterest in it. The anti-porn crusaders hate all porn and anime trash especially.

One thing that can be said in hentai's favor is that it does not defile the sacred body of the White woman.
Are you saying that thinking of a white woman as a sexual being is defiling her?

No, I'm referring to the Alt-Right mentality on it. They dislike porn for many reasons, but part of it is the idea that it's a Jewish way of taking away their SACRED CHASTITY.

Alt-Right boys tend to be a weird mix of puritanical and degenerate. Puritanical standards for others and degenerate behavior from themselves.

I have a bit of experience with this board. What's always seemed funny to me is that most christians in real life, when they come across another sect, aren't as militant as they are online.
Maybe if people would understand that Christianity IS advocating tolerance of others in the first place, this board wouldn't be a trash fire. But the Bible has become so open to interpretation, none of them are ever going to really get it.

Something Christians often seem to forget is that, at its most basic level (I'm not interested in the theology here, I'm sure there's plenty of churches that disagree), Christianity is simply the worship of Christ as the son of God/savior, and you are saved by living as a Christian.

It shouldn't make a fucking difference if you believe that God has a physical body or not, if the trinity is one god or three gods, if you are dunked in water or not, if you eat crackers at church or not, if you believe in evolution or not, or a million other things Christians use to justify the bile they spew.

Okay, just wondering.

Possible troon on a Christian board.

I'm going to laugh when Rooshie's forum essentially becomes incel.is 3.0

As a side-note, I've always wondered if these born-again new-right Christians are intentionally drawing from the well of Puritanism. I recently read a book about early colonial settlers, and from what I read the Puritans are the prime example of the dystopian bargain: give up all freedom, individuality, and art, and there will be no inequality, crime, or violence. The difference being that (contrary to popular belief) most of the Puritans believed that the path to righteousness was narrow indeed and the slightest misstep would damn you and lived accordingly, while many of these neo-Puritans pay lip service, but believe there is an exemption to this for them in particular.

As someone descended from those very settlers, that is a very apt description.

So because he had a religious experience nobody else is allowed to discuss things that go against his religion anymore?

Null better not pull that shit when he finally converts to Islam

Is this really him doing it because he's genuinely turned over a new leaf

or is it because his website has been failing over the past few years to make any revenue, and he's bleeding money because Amazon cut his books. So he's finding some other group to try and leach off of. If you think this is far fetched, this happens quite often actually. A notable lolcow who did this in the past is Brett Keane. Who was a youtube atheist who "found religion" because he stopped getting regular donations from atheists.

At the same time you had notable Puritan escape valves like Anne Hutchinson. She taught that feeling convicted of sin was a good thing because it reminded you that you were one of the elect. Sinning wasn't acceptable, per se, but it was useful for continual sanctification. 8chan has somehow brought this shit into the modern era.

also note that probably none of that will make sense unless you know what Calvinism is, so eh

He does whatever he wants with his forum. His zeal does make me wonder how sustainable this is, though. It's like the kid who's super into the new hobby, but then gets bored and drops it a few months later.
Also, I thought borscht led people to the Orthodox church, not Islam.

I think the environment is important, but this is weird.
I mean, in Genesis it does say that God appointed man STEWARD of the Earth, which implies that we are meant to care for it in His name.
Personally, I find the evangelicals who have the attitude of "exploit the shit out of the Earth with no concern for any consequence, the Rapture's gonna hit Soon TM" to be more hilarious.

Oh, boy do those types piss me off.

Maybe I've just had back luck, but I've run into a number of Low Church Protestants who scorn animal rights/treatment. Not in favor of cockfights sort of thing, but just dismissive of it, with a justification of "God gave us the Earth, animals aren't at our level, you're supposed to focus on being good to your fellow man."

Be good in general, you shitheads.

This. We need to be good to our fellow man, but we need to be good to the Earth as well.

I'd imagine there's probably some Christians I know who would go there (going to school in Christian environments).

But sweet Jesus, the religious have gotten more schizophrenic than they have in recent years if this is any representation. Glad I don't go by that stuff.
Hmmm, a chan board really shouldn't be any metric for what you believe.
Most people aren't like chan users anyway. We'd have a far more retarded world otherwise
