I used to regularly eat 7-11 taquitos. Never got any tummy troubles from it, but I'm pretty sure they did something. Like make me a bigger dumbass. Now I cant even look at them without feeling repulsed, which is weird, because it's not like they've ever made me sick. I dont know how to put it other than 7/11 food emits a cursed, chaotic vibe that most brains either translate as "that's not food" or "I want to be one of those hot dogs rolling on those rollers mmmmm". But you will never be that hot dog. So your only option is to eat that hot dog.
I have never eaten any hot dogs from convenience stores since one time in college, they had a convenience store inside one of the dorm complexes (operated by a local convenience store operator, by coincidence, after they pulled out of the campus locations, they eventually became 7-Eleven through buyouts).

I ate the hot dog and I swear it went right through me instantly or some other calamity, causing shit to at least gather near the anus area (no, not shitting yourself, just when it starts to get moist). I don't know what happened if it was a coincidence or what, but in the days before and since, I've had some questionable fast food, and nothing has been "processed" quite as fast since that hot dog.

I only go to 7-Eleven for my red bull. Somehow the cheapest way to get them is from a gas station. I even compared it to buying cases online and it's still cheaper.

it's been a while since I've had one of their cheeseburger big bites
there was a long stretch when I'd have one of those with chili, salsa, nacho cheese, onions, and jalapenos on the way to work
also I find more and more I prefer 7-Eleven's gummies above other brands

I found two new Replenish flavors, Pineapple and Prickly Pear. These ones have caffeine. Prickly pear was the clear winner of the two.’
Personally I want a nice cranberry tinged flavor, extra sour.

By the way, on the issue of c-store food, Big Mama sausages are vile. Imagine a particularly cheap brand of hot dogs that’s basically salt and fat, then soak that in white vinegar, and you’ve basically got a BM sausage.

I’d eat it if I was starving but there’s no reason to buy it unless it was something you’ve been eating your entire life.

They took away the 2x points for scanning the app and now points are only on select items. Motherfucker all Imdo is buy booze and tobacco there, gimme my fuckin points

I was on the other side of my city and stumbled upon a high class 7/11. Jesus Christ the fancy drink machines they had in there made me sad I wasn't a college age student again.

There's a Espresso Machine that can pour out excellent Lattes. A Nitro Cold Brew Machine, a Slurpee Lemonade Machine that could make several different flavors of Lemonade. And still that good old fashioned 7/11 format of making drinks very inexpensive because they make money with everything else they sell. And everything was just clean.

It's a damn shame that most 7/11s have to be complete ghetto hellholes with the dregs of society hanging out front. If you live nearby a nice friendly 7/11 it's such a different environment.

I feel bad for the workers who've had their work load tripled since they decided to fulfill doordash/grubhub/uber eats orders remotely for random shit. Not enough to do anything about it, but I can't imagine app'ing ahead for a slurpee or a hot dog or whatever. It's not like they gave these poor fuckers a raise for all the increased traffic and online orders either. At least they're one of the few places still open after midnight with lockdowns over.

I live in an area where I can potentially visit 8 or 9 different locations driving no more than 20 minutes in any direction and it's interesting to see the trends in which stores carry what product. One location will carry the full spread of salads, another won't. One location will get the egg salad sandwiches, while the others only get chicken salad. They started selling animal crackers dipped in chocolate or yogurt, then adding sprinkles, but some locations only carry one or the other. And then 4-5 months down the road, things rotate from one location to another.

I feel that, it's strange having to know that if I want something in particular, I have to remember which of the four locations near me has that one item. One has better upkeep on drinks/hot food, one carries better alc, one carries better snacks, etc.
Interestingly, we had a new, modernized one open almost directly across a street from an older location, it has all the new machines and dispensers but yet everyone still goes to the older, kinda gross one, myself included.

You mean those touchscreen soda machines where you can get unique flavors because it mixes a few types of syrup before adding the water?

A few of the fast-food places have them

I guess the Slurpee machine would count as that although the novelty was still fresh to me. But god these modern idiot proof Espresso machines are amazing. If I were stupidly rich I'd have it in my house. Why learn the barista crap when a computer can do it?

I had no idea the newer 7/11s have fancy stuff like that. They just tore down an old one near me and are rebuilding it in a better place (with a bigger parking lot, thank god). Guess I'll have to check it out whenever it opens.

7 Eleven Tropical Flavored Filled Ropes is probably the worst damn gummy candy I've ever had. And I've even had Everyburger.
it's got this horrible just-almost-gritty chalk texture to the mix, and it's all a pile of random neon window cleaner flavors

My nigga do you have a 99 cent store? I always see them there, rockstar and monster too.

The 711 nitro cold brew is better than Starbucks for less than half the price. I fuck hard with 711 iced coffee

I've never had their hot food, I only buy coffee, beer and cigs
